The battery in your watch is installed at the factory and should be replaced immediately upon the first signs of insufficient power (e.g., backlight not turning on, dim display) by an authorized CASIO dealer or distributor. The battery is installed at the factory for testing purposes, and its service life may be shorter than indicated in the watch's technical specifications.

Notes on Water Resistance Sections
- Category I: The watch is not water-resistant. Avoid exposure to any moisture.
- Category III: Do not press the watch buttons underwater.
- Category IV: If the watch is exposed to salt water, rinse it thoroughly with fresh water and dry it.
- Category V: The watch can be used for scuba diving (except for depths requiring helium-oxygen mixtures).
- Some water-resistant watches may have leather straps. Do not wear these watches while swimming or engaging in other activities where the strap may get wet.
Watch Care
- Never attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
- The rubber gasket that protects the watch from water and dust should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If moisture enters the watch, have it checked immediately by your nearest CASIO dealer or distributor.
- Do not expose the watch to extreme temperatures.
- While designed for normal use, avoid rough handling and dropping the watch.
- Do not fasten the strap too tightly. There should be enough space for a finger between your wrist and the strap.
- To clean the watch and strap, use a dry soft cloth or a soft cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent solution. Never use volatile substances such as gasoline, solvents, aerosol cleaners, etc.
- When not in use, store the watch in a dry place.
- Avoid contact with gasoline, cleaning solvents, aerosol sprays, adhesives, paint, etc. Chemical reactions caused by these materials can damage gaskets, the case, and the polish.
- Some models feature silk-screened designs on the strap. Be careful when cleaning these straps to avoid damaging the designs.
For Watches with Plastic Straps
- You may notice a white powdery substance on the strap. This substance is harmless to your skin or clothing and can be easily removed by wiping with a cloth.
- Exposure of a plastic strap to sweat or moisture, or storage in high humidity, can lead to damage, tearing, or cracking of the strap. To ensure a long service life for plastic straps, wipe them clean of dirt and water with a soft cloth whenever possible.
For Watches with Fluorescent Cases and Straps
- Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause the fluorescent color to fade gradually.
- Extended contact with moisture may cause the fluorescent color to fade gradually. If any moisture gets on the watch surface, wipe it off as soon as possible.
- Contact with any other wet surface may cause the fluorescent color to discolor. Ensure the fluorescent surface is dry and avoid contact with other surfaces.
- Rubbing a surface with fluorescent paint against another surface may transfer the fluorescent paint.
General Operation
CASIO COMPUTER CO., LTD. is not responsible for any damage that may arise from the use of this watch, nor does it accept claims from third parties.
