2 Introduction

The HBK-P01 switching power supply is specifically designed for access control systems. It offers automatic protection against short circuits, over-voltage, and over-current, ensuring practicality, a simple interface, and steady performance. With a working current of 3A, it provides a stable 12VDC output voltage suitable for electric locks and access controllers. An external backup battery can be connected without risk of over-charging or scarce-charging. The power supply automatically cuts off output when the voltage becomes too low, protecting the battery and preventing the lock from malfunctioning due to low voltage.

• Features a low noise design with ripple as low as 85mVp-p.
• Compatible with electric locks, access controllers, exit push buttons, and intercom cameras.
• Helps reduce the load on access controllers and saves wiring, minimizing potential issues.
• Utilizes a relay control circuit, allowing the lock time to be adjusted from 0 to 15 seconds.
• Includes automatic protection functions for dangerous situations such as overload, over-voltage, and short circuits.
• Protection mechanism: Power disconnects temporarily, or the fuse is automatically insured.
• A circuit breaker protects against overcurrent and reverse battery faults.
• Supports an external 12V backup battery. The charging no-load voltage is 16.5V, and the charging voltage is 13.8V when the battery is connected. It takes approximately 18.5 hours to fully charge a 12V/7AH battery.
• Features short circuit (flow) protection: when the output circuit is short-circuited, it automatically disconnects and returns to normal state upon troubleshooting.
• Includes battery reverse protection: if the battery is connected reversely, the power supply remains undamaged. Adjusting the battery's positive and negative poles will restore the power supply in about 20 seconds.
• Provides battery over-discharge protection: when the battery voltage drops below 9.2V during use, the battery is automatically disconnected to prevent data loss on the access control device. The battery will recharge quickly once the voltage is restored.

5 Input Wiring Diagram
