System Diagram and Monitoring
System Diagram
The system diagram illustrates the connection of photovoltaic modules to the micro inverter. The micro inverter connects to a WiFi Modem, which then communicates with the KDM Cloud Server. This setup allows for monitoring via a mobile phone app or computer.
Components shown: Photovoltaic module, Micro inverter, WiFi Modem, KDM Cloud Server, WiFi Router, Computer, APP Control, Switch, Meter, Power Grid.
Description of the Connector and Cable Core of the Micro Inverter
The micro inverter features a 3-pin AC output connector. The pins are designated as:
- PIN 1: L (Live wire) - Brown wire
- PIN 2: N (Neutral) - Blue wire
- PIN 3: G (Ground) - Yellow-green wire
Note: A professionally customized AC bus with a T-type connector can be used for branch wiring systems.
LED Indicator Function of Micro Inverter
The micro-inverter has an LED indicator to show its operational status:
- Red light on: Micro-inverter is powered on and ready.
- Red light flashing: Micro-inverter is prepared and entering a delayed startup state.
- Flashing green: Searching for Maximum Power Point (MPPT).
- Green light on: MPPT locked state.
- Green light turns red: Indicates protection modes such as islanding, frequency, AC over/under-voltage, DC over/under-voltage, fault, or software shutdown.
Normal working indicator process: Upon connecting AC and DC power, the indicator sequence is: Red light on (3s) → Red light flashing (30s) → Flashing green (MPPT search) → Green light on (MPPT lock).
Installation Guide
Appearance Description of Micro Inverter
The micro inverter has DC input terminals (positive and negative) for connecting to PV modules, an AC output terminal for connecting to the AC main cable or next inverter, an independent ground connection point, a status indicator LED, and an antenna. It also features fixing holes for mounting.
Preparation Before Installation
- Install Kaideng micro inverter series products as shown in the figures.
- Only qualified personnel should install or replace Kaideng micro-inverters.
- Read all instructions, technical details, and warning marks before installation or use.
- Plan AC branch circuits to ensure they do not exceed current limits, allocating the maximum number of micro-inverters per branch.
- Implement all national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC, ANSI/NFPA 70).
- Do not attempt to repair the micro-inverter; it contains no user-serviceable parts. Contact Kaideng customer service for assistance. Tampering voids the warranty.
- Ensure AC power is disconnected before installation. Do not install with power on.
- After power station installation, install a ground wire on the photovoltaic support. Install lightning protection and/or surge suppression equipment in the AC junction box. A switch device for lightning/surge protection is crucial.
- When installing the inverter handshake cable, plan branch circuits to manage current limits and allocate micro-inverters per branch.
- Ensure the current of each channel at the branch circuit does not exceed 40 Amp to avoid unsafe factors.
- Check for necessary related equipment: AC junction box, screwdriver, wire cutter, voltmeter, torque wrench, socket, and wrenches.
Note: The number of micro-inverters per branch may vary by region. Refer to local requirements.

- Connect the AC main cable to the utility grid to begin operation.
Note: Always follow safety symbols and instructions in this manual for safe installation and operation.
Wiring Diagram WVC-2800 Triple Phase
The diagram shows a triple-phase wiring configuration for the WVC-2800. It illustrates multiple PV arrays, each connected to an inverter. The inverters' AC outputs are then connected to a common AC main cable, which is then connected to the grid via L1, L2, L3, N, and Ground connections. Each array branch has a maximum of 3 micro-inverters.
Wire connections for AC output:
- L1 (Live): Brown wire
- N (Neutral): Blue wire
- G (Ground): Yellow-green wire
For triple-phase connections, L2 and L3 also use brown wires, N uses blue, and G uses yellow-green.
