The Tigo TS4-A-O is an advanced add-on solution designed to bring smart module functionality to standard photovoltaic (PV) modules. It provides optimization, rapid shutdown capabilities, and module-level monitoring, enhancing the performance and safety of solar installations.

Key Specifications

Important Note on Installation: Modules must not be installed in readily accessible locations (Canada only). Connectors from different manufacturers cannot be mated with each other.

Tigo Access Point (TAP) Integration

The Tigo Access Point (TAP) is a PVRSE (PV Rapid Shutdown Equipment) device. It communicates wirelessly to provide a keep-alive signal to the TS4 (attenuator) device. The TAP must be powered from the same circuit as the RSI (Rapid Shutdown Initiator) and must be tied to the inverter's shutdown sequence.

Installation Quick Start Guide

Follow these steps for installation:

  1. Step 1: Connect Input Cables

    Connect the input cables from the PV module to the TS4-A-O unit.
