2. Setting the Time (Hour, 24-Hour, Minute, and Second)
3. Setting the Month
4. Setting the Date
C) Setting the Day and Time (Hour, 24 Hour, Minute, and Second)
The hour, 24-hour, minute, second, and day are set using the same crown operation.
Setting Procedure Flow:
Day â Hour & 24Hour â Minute â Second
C-1) Setting the Day
Pull the crown out to the 2nd position to stop the second hand at 0 (12 o'clock).
Turn the hour/minute hands in a clockwise direction to set the day. To set the day, advance the hour hand by 24 hours for each day.
Note:
- If the day is set by turning the crown counterclockwise, the date may not change over. Do not set the day by turning the crown counterclockwise.
- The day typically changes between 0:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. or slightly later.
C-2) Setting the Time
After setting the day, set the hour (and 24-hour) and minute hands.
Turn the hour/minute hands in a clockwise direction to set the time.
To ensure accurate time setting, first turn the minute hand 5 minutes ahead of the desired time, then turn it back (counterclockwise) to the desired time.
After setting the time, push the crown back to the normal position to start the second hand. Use a time signal to synchronize the watch.
Note: Make sure AM/PM is correctly set before setting the time.
When the day changes over, it is a.m. (Day changes over between 0:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. or a little later). Check AM/PM using the 24-hour hand.
D) Setting the Month (By Quick Operation)
Each time the month-adjustment button is pushed, the month advances by one month. Press the button firmly when changing the month.
Note:
- Do not set the month when the date hand is between the 26th and 31st. Move the date hand out of this period before proceeding. If the date hand is within this range, month quick setting may not be possible or may not advance correctly.
- The month and date are synchronized. When adjusting the date at the end of short months (less than 31 days), the month automatically adjusts to the correct month. The month disc changes around midnight of the 31st.
E) Setting the Date (By Quick Operation)
Pull the crown out to the 1st position. Turn the crown counterclockwise to set the date quickly.
Note: Do not set the date between the hours 9:00 p.m. and 0:30 a.m., as the date may not change correctly the next day.
These specifications might be changed without prior notice.
