3.1 Setting the Day and Time
The hour, 24-hour, minute, second, and day are set using the same operational sequence.
Setting Procedure Flow:
DAY → HOUR &24HOUR → MINUTE → SECOND
3.1.1 Setting the Day
Pull the crown out to the 2nd position to stop the second hand at 0 (12 o'clock). Turn the hour/minute hands in a clockwise direction to set the day. To set the day, you must advance the hour hand by 24 hours for each day.
Notes:
- Setting the day by turning the crown counterclockwise may result in the date not changing correctly.
- Avoid setting the day by turning the crown counterclockwise.
- The day typically changes between 0:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. or slightly later.
3.1.2 Setting the Time
After setting the day, proceed to set the hour (and 24-hour) and minute hands. Turn the hour/minute hands in a clockwise direction to set the time.
To ensure accurate time setting, first turn the minute hand approximately 5 minutes ahead of the desired time, then turn it back (counterclockwise) to the desired time.
After setting the time, push the crown back to the normal position to start the second hand. Use a time signal to synchronize the watch.
Note: Ensure the AM/PM setting is correct before setting the time. The 24-hour hand can be used to check AM/PM. The day changes over indicate it is a.m.
4. Setting the Date (By Quick Operation)
Pull the crown out to the 1st position. Turn the crown counterclockwise to set the date quickly.
Note:
- Do not set the date between 9:00 p.m. and 0:30 a.m., as the date may not change correctly the following day.
These specifications might be changed without prior notice.
