The Hyundai HD series offers one of the safest and most ergonomic cabs. The curved instrument and switch panel layout means less reaching and more instinctive control. Minor controls, cab access, door, and grab handles are optimally positioned, with ample interior illumination and stowage space.

The Hyundai HD series trucks are developed for perfect safety, forming the foundation for rugged structure and extraordinary ride and handling. World-class safety features include an ABS integrated EBD brake system as standard. A full-size driver's airbag is also available for driver safety.
ABS with EBD Braking System
The HD series offers enhanced active safety and security via a 4-channel ABS integrated Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) system. When the system detects brake lock-up in adverse or slippery road conditions, it adjusts and controls braking pressures to all wheels via hydraulic control, automatically increasing brake pressure in emergencies.
Powerful F-Engine
The new CRDi (common rail direct injection) engine in the Hyundai HD series is Euro 5 compliant, offering more power, smoothness, calm operation, and economy. It produces 118kw and is capable of very fast acceleration with high torque even at low RPM.
Engine Variants
Available in F-160 Euro V (118kw/2,500rpm) and F-140 Euro V (103kw/2,700rpm), both with 3,933cc displacement and high torque figures.
EGR + PMC System
Features Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) to reduce nitrous oxide (NOx) by recirculating exhaust gas, and Particulate Matter Catalyst (PMC) to eliminate dust by exhaust heat, serving as a perfect counter plan for environmental regulations.
Advanced 6-Speed Manual Transmission
The new HD Series truck has an advanced 5/6-speed manual transmission for improved gear shifting and power delivery. Multi-cone synchronizers in every gear contribute to smooth gear shifting effort and improve transmission durability.
Dependable Braking
Large size brake linings and tandem brake boosters provide consistently dependable and powerful braking. Front disc brakes and automatic adjusters are featured.

A heat-treated, web-strengthened, ultra-rigid Super Frame provides the chassis basis for the superior performance and safety of all Hyundai HD trucks. Optimal suspension resilience, whether fully loaded or empty, comes from the proven toughness of leaf springs with advanced shock absorber technology. Routine maintenance is simplified with easily checked fluid levels, and the advanced integrated fuel filter requires service only at 50,000km intervals.
