Cable Type | Without Ferrule | With Ferrule |
---|---|---|
Solid cable | 1 x (1 to 2.5 mm²) 2 x (1 to 2.5 mm²) |
1 x (1 to 2.5 mm²) |
Flexible cable | 1 x (1 to 2.5 mm²) 2 x (1 to 2.5 mm²) |
1 x (1 to 2.5 mm²) |
Recommended Tools: For wiring terminals: 3.5 mm flat screwdriver. For fastening: flat screwdriver (max. 5.5 mm).
5.2 Wiring Diagrams
Wiring Diagram for Power Connection: The diagram shows the module mounted on a rail. Power is supplied via L (phase) and N (neutral) terminals. The diagram illustrates how to insert wires into the cage clamp terminals and indicates the recommended stripping length. It also shows the module being clicked onto its base, with the power terminals clearly labeled.
Configuring the Gateway-module in a distribution board: To configure the Gateway-module, the main switch must first be turned off. After the installation is wired, turn the main switch back on to power the connected devices simultaneously.
Connect the Gateway-module after a circuit breaker. If circumstances permit, existing electrical protections in the switchboard can be reused for this purpose.
Configuration Procedure:
- Turn off the power at the main circuit breaker.
- Turn the power back on at the main circuit breaker once the installation is complete and checked.
- Press and hold the configuration button on the Gateway-module for longer than 3 seconds until the light briefly turns green, then release the button.
The configuration lights on the '... with Netatmo' products in the installation will light up solid green. Briefly press the configuration button on the Gateway-module to complete the installation. The configuration lights will then turn off.
