1. Description

Use

Within a Home + Control installation, the Module Control with Netatmo creates a network of connected equipment via radio and acts as a gateway to the IP network using a Wi-Fi connection.

To create a connected installation, you need:

The module is usable:

Technology

Wi-Fi ↔️ RF modular gateway connecting the internet IP network to the network of connected products "... with Netatmo". Installs in an electrical cabinet.

Connected Network

Maximum number of connected products in the network: 100

Recommendations

For the protection of the Module Control, it is recommended to use a circuit breaker or a gG fuse with a nominal current of ≤ 16 A.

4. Positioning

Mounts on a symmetrical rail EN/IEC 60715 or DIN 35.

Mounting Positions

The Module Control With Netatmo can be mounted in a Vertical, Horizontal, or Flat position.

Positioning in a Row

The product's profile and terminal positioning allow for the passage of single-phase, three-phase, and Plug In connection combs in the upper part of the product. This flexibility allows the Module Control to be positioned freely within the row, enabling connection via combs to products on the same rail.

Steps:

  1. [arrow-right] Detach the cover to remove it.
  2. Connect the power supply to the Module Control.
  3. Clip the cover back onto the base.

Important: Branch the Module Control after a protection circuit breaker. If conditions permit, existing electrical protections in the electrical panel can be reused.

6. Configuration

Operation Mode Visualization

Indicated by an indicator light on the front of the product:

Configuring the Module Control in an Electrical Cabinet

To configure the Module Control, the general circuit breaker must be turned OFF. After wiring the installation, turn the circuit breaker back ON so that the connected devices are powered simultaneously.

  1. [power-off] Turn OFF the power at the general circuit breaker.
  2. [power-on] Turn ON the power at the general circuit breaker once the installation is completed and checked.

Press and hold the Module Control configuration button for more than 3 seconds, until the indicator light briefly illuminates green, then release.

[Diagram description: Shows a button being pressed for more than 3 seconds (>3s), with an indicator light turning green. A subsequent diagram shows a timer indicating >30s, and then a brief press (<1s) of the button.]

The configuration indicators of the "... with Netatmo" products present in the installation will light up solid green.

Briefly press the Module Control configuration button to finalize the installation. The configuration indicators will turn off.
