This document provides operation instructions for the Berker KNX-Funk Universal Dimmer Actuator, 1gang flush-mounted.

Important Warnings
⚠️ Installation and mounting must only be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the relevant installation standards of the country.
⚠️ Do not install the product in the immediate vicinity of the light being dimmed.
⚠️ Ensure the antenna is kept as far as possible from the product.
Device Overview
The device is a mains-supplied radio receiver. It can be remotely controlled by radio transmitters (e.g., input devices, push-buttons, remote controls). It is suitable for dimming various types of illuminants (see Load Types table).

Functions
- 1 dimming channel controlled by KNX radio device.
- Automatic detection of load types.
Operation
- Manual control of the output is possible via the fct button.
- The output status is displayed on the fct LED (red illuminated = output active).
The exact functions of this device depend on the specific configuration and parameter settings.
Protection Against Overheating or Overload
The device is automatically protected against overload, short-circuit, and overheating. In case of overheating or overload, the power is automatically reduced.

- Check if the output is in short-circuit.
- Reduce the power of the load connected to the device.
Configuration
The device can be configured in 3 different ways:
- quicklink: Configuration without tools, directly on the device via the cfg and fct buttons (refer to the quicklink configuration instructions).
- tebis TX: Configuration via a connection device from Hager.
- ETS3/ETS4 via KNX-RF/TP gateway: Application, product database, and documentation available from the manufacturer.
⚠️ To change the configuration mode, the device must be reset to factory settings.
[Reset to Factory Settings]
Press and hold the cfg button until the cfg LED blinks for more than 10 seconds, then release. The cfg LED will turn off to indicate the end of the factory reset. This operation deletes the entire device configuration, regardless of the configuration mode.
After powering on or performing a factory reset, wait for 15 seconds before proceeding with a new configuration.
