IKEA Katowice Store and Parking Regulations, Complaint Submission, and Special Warranty Terms (JDG)
I. General Provisions
1. These regulations define the rules for using the IKEA store in Katowice, including the store premises and external warehouse (hereinafter referred to as the "Store"), the parking area, and internal roads (hereinafter referred to as the "Parking"). They also cover the procedures for submitting complaints and special warranty terms for sole proprietors (JDG) as defined in section IV.4.
2. The Store and Parking are private areas managed by IKEA Retail Sp. z o.o., located at Plac Szwedzki 3, 05-090 Raszyn. The company has a share capital of PLN 20,000,000.00 and is registered in the National Court Register under KRS number 0000091681, REGON: 010577890, NIP: 527 010 33 85 (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").
II. Rules for Using the Store and Parking
1. During store opening hours, the following are permitted:
- a) Presence on the Store and Parking premises exclusively by persons using the Store (hereinafter referred to as "Client").
- b) Free parking of vehicles in the Parking area by Clients.
2. The following are prohibited on the Store and Parking premises:
- a) Conducting advertising, promotional, commercial, or service activities, unless prior written consent from the Store Management is obtained.
- b) Littering, polluting, or vandalizing the Store and Parking.
- c) Parking of broken-down, damaged vehicles, or vehicles carrying hazardous materials.
- d) Repairing, cleaning vehicles, or changing vehicle fluids (including coolant, fuel, oil).
- e) Any actions that may endanger the safety of people or property.
- f) Any actions that disrupt the use of the Store or Parking by Clients.
- g) Any other actions that are contrary to Polish law.
- h) Bringing or possessing dangerous items, explosives, all types of weapons, including firearms and bladed weapons, regardless of their form or type, including ammunition. This does not apply to authorized personnel on duty (e.g., Police and other services) or those performing professional duties requiring weapon possession (e.g., security personnel, escorts).
3. Within the Store premises, IKEA permits the presence of animals under the following conditions (excluding the IKEA Restaurant and other IKEA dining areas):
- a) For the purpose of this Regulation, "animals" refers exclusively to domestic animals as defined by Article 4, point 17 of the Act of August 21, 1997, on the Protection of Animals (consolidated text in the Journal of Laws, item 111, paragraph 724, as amended).
- b) Animals may only be present on IKEA premises under the supervision and care of their adult guardians.
- c) Only animals with valid mandatory vaccinations, depending on the species (e.g., for dogs, valid rabies vaccination), are permitted on IKEA premises. This obligation is imposed by the Act on Animal Health Protection and Combating Infectious Animal Diseases, Article 56.
- d) Animal guardians are obliged to maintain constant and effective supervision of their animals. In the event of animals leaving waste on IKEA premises, guardians are obliged to immediately remove it and inform store employees. Guardians must make every effort to ensure that their animals are as unobtrusive as possible to others and do not litter the IKEA premises or pose a threat to other Clients.
- e) Animal guardians bear full responsibility for the behavior of their animals and any damages they may cause within the IKEA store.
- f) Animals that behave in a disruptive manner, are aggressive, or may pose a threat to others are not permitted on IKEA premises.
- g) Animals may only be brought in on a leash or in suitable carriers; dogs must also wear a muzzle. IKEA does not provide carriers or muzzles required for entry.
- h) Leaving animals unattended within the IKEA store is prohibited.
- i) Using IKEA shopping carts and bags for transporting animals on the store and parking premises is prohibited.
- j) IKEA does not permit animals in the IKEA Restaurant and IKEA dining areas. This prohibition applies to the entire area of the IKEA Restaurant and other IKEA dining points, including seating and relaxation areas. An exception is made for guide dogs, which persons with disabilities may bring into and move around the entire IKEA store.
- k) Violation of these Regulations may result in the Client being asked to leave the store with their animal, as well as other legal consequences stipulated by relevant laws, including the Civil Code and the Code of Offenses.
4. The following individuals are prohibited from being on the Store and Parking premises:
- a) Perpetrators of property theft or other criminal offenses, previously apprehended on the Store or Parking premises for caught-in-the-act offenses.
- b) Individuals violating the law or disturbing public order.
- c) Individuals posing a threat to other people or property.
- d) Individuals behaving disruptively towards others or the surroundings.
- e) Individuals visibly under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating substances.
III. Special Parking Regulations
1. The Parking is unsupervised. Vehicles may only be left for the duration of a visit to the Store and only in designated parking spaces. Parking on the lines marking parking spaces is prohibited.
2. Leaving a vehicle in the Parking does not constitute a storage agreement within the meaning of Article 835 of the Civil Code.
3. The provisions of the Road Traffic Act (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 110) apply to the Parking, access roads, and internal roads. Parking users are obliged to comply with the Road Traffic Act, all road signs, road markings (horizontal and vertical) used in the Parking, and traffic organization rules.
4. Parking vehicles in the Parking area during store opening hours is free of charge.
5. Parking vehicles in the Parking area after store opening hours is prohibited.
6. In case of parking vehicles in the Parking area after store opening hours or using the Parking in a manner that violates the Regulations, the vehicle owner or the person who left the vehicle in the Parking will be charged a fee for unauthorized parking of PLN 50 per hour.
7. Regardless of the right to charge the above fees, leaving a vehicle in the Parking after store opening hours or using the Parking in a manner that violates the Regulations entitles the Company to remove (tow) the vehicle from the Parking at the owner's expense.

9. For matters related to vehicle towing, please contact the persons indicated in section V.4 of the Regulations.
IV. Complaints and Limitation of Warranty Rights for Sole Proprietors
1. All complaints should be submitted:
- a) Directly at the relevant IKEA Customer Service Desk in writing.
- b) By mail to the IKEA store address (Head of Customer Service Department).
- c) By phone to the IKEA Customer Service number.
- d) Via the complaint form available on the IKEA Complaints website.
- e) Via IKEA Chat available on the "Contact Us" page.
- f) Via the Facebook Messenger communicator on the official IKEA profile.
2. When submitting a complaint, the Client should provide the following information: Client's name or company name, reason for the complaint, order number and date of order fulfillment (if available), Client's address, and proof of purchase (if available).
3. Complaints will be processed within 14 days of receipt by IKEA.
4. For a Client who is a natural person and has entered into an agreement directly related to their economic activity ("JDG"), where the contract indicates that it does not have a professional character for them, resulting in particular from the subject of their economic activity disclosed under the provisions on the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity, Article 5615 of the Civil Code does not apply.
V. Final Provisions
1. Persons responsible for the security of the Store and Parking are authorized to monitor compliance with the Regulations. They may ask individuals violating the Regulations, or behaving in a manner inconsistent with generally accepted principles of social coexistence, to leave the Store or Parking. This particularly applies to behavior that may disturb the peace of Clients and store visitors.
2. Prices of goods displayed at the point of sale are valid only within the specified sales channel.
3. Individuals using the Store and Parking are obliged to familiarize themselves with the Regulations.
4. Comments regarding the use of the Store and Parking can be reported to the IKEA Customer Service Department in Katowice or by phone at (22) 275 00 00.

6. The Company reserves the right to introduce changes to the Regulations. Changes to the Regulations will not affect the rights acquired by the Client before the changes come into effect.
7. These Regulations are effective from July 1, 2025.
