Charging the BTAXS2R

The BTAXS2R has a built-in rechargeable battery. Charge it fully before use.

Connect the included 12V charger to a standard 12V power socket and plug the 3.5mm charging cable into the BTAXS2R. The Red LED will remain solid while charging. Full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours. The Red LED turns off when charging is complete.

Low Battery Indicator: When the battery is low, the Red LED flashes once every 30 seconds, accompanied by three "prompt" tones every 30 seconds.

Note: The battery is recyclable. Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat, such as direct sunlight, fire, or radiant heat.

Pairing the BTAXS2R

Ensure your mobile device is Bluetooth-enabled. Pairing steps may vary by phone model; refer to your phone's user manual.

General pairing steps:

  1. Plug the BTAXS2R into your vehicle's AUX-IN jack and set your car stereo to AUX mode.
  2. Place the BTAXS2R in pairing mode (see "Startup Functions").
  3. Turn on your mobile device's Bluetooth and search for devices. Select "BTAXS2R" from the list.
  4. If prompted for a password, enter "0000" (this may vary by phone model).
  5. If prompted to connect, select "Yes" (this may vary by phone model).
  6. After successful connection, the Blue LED will flash twice every 5 seconds.

Notes:

  • If pairing fails, turn off the BTAXS2R and try again from step 1.
  • After successful pairing, the BTAXS2R and your mobile device will remember each other. Re-pairing is only needed if pairing information is deleted or the device is "forgotten" in Bluetooth settings.
  • The BTAXS2R automatically connects to the last connected device when turned on.
  • To pair with a different device, turn off Bluetooth on the current device, then pair the BTAXS2R with the new device following steps 1-6.

Playing Music Through BTAXS2R

  • Once connected, press the MFB once to play/pause music.
  • Music will pause when a call is received and resume after the call ends.
  • Note: Track skipping (next/previous) cannot be done with the BTAXS2R; use your music device for this.

Connecting to Other Music Players via 3.5mm Line-in

  1. Set your car audio system's input to AUX.
  2. Connect your music player to the BTAXS2R using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable.

Note: If connected to both a Bluetooth device and another music player via the 3.5mm line-in simultaneously, the 3.5mm input becomes the primary audio source. Disconnect the 3.5mm cable to resume Bluetooth audio.

The BTAXS2R can also be used at home or in your office by connecting it to any home audio system with a 3.5mm AUX input jack.
