AT&T U-verse TV Remote Control Quick Start Guide
This guide provides instructions for programming your AT&T U-verse TV remote control to operate popular audio devices and TVs.
Program popular audio device
If your Audio Device manufacturer is not listed, use the Remote Control User Guide to program your Audio Device. Ensure the Audio Device is powered on and producing sound.
Note: Once programmed, the remote will control the audio device volume. To adjust TV volume, use the TV's original remote.

- Step 1: Find your AUDIO BRAND in the chart above and note the corresponding number.
- Step 2: Enter Program Mode. Press and hold the OK and MENU keys simultaneously for three seconds. All four mode keys will flash red twice, and you will hear two short beeps.
- Step 3: Press AUX mode key. The AUX mode key will light up red and remain lit.
- Step 4: Press the key for your brand. While pointing the remote at your audio device, press and hold the number key for your brand. Release the key when the audio device mutes.
- Step 5: Confirm your code. Press the MUTE key to unmute the audio device. Use the VOLUME UP/DOWN keys to verify control. If it doesn't work, return to Step 2.
Note: Consult your audio device manufacturer's instructions for setting TV volume when operating your audio device. You may need to turn down or off the TV's volume.
Program popular TV
If your TV manufacturer is not listed, use the Remote Control User Guide to program your TV. Before starting, remove the protective battery strip and ensure the TV is powered on.

- Step 1: Find your TV BRAND in the chart above and note the corresponding number.
- Step 2: Enter program mode. Press and hold the OK and MENU keys simultaneously for three seconds. All four mode keys will flash red twice, and you will hear two short beeps.
- Step 3: Press the TV mode key. The TV mode key will light up red and remain lit.
- Step 4: Press the key for your brand. While pointing the remote at your TV, press and hold the number key for your brand. Release the key when the TV turns off.
- Step 5: Confirm your code. Press the POWER key to turn your TV back on. Use the VOLUME UP/DOWN keys to verify control. If it doesn't work, return to Step 2.
