Parts List

Step 1

Place the chair frame upside down on a soft surface to prevent scratches. Attach the adhesive pads (part number 10080238) to the bottom of the four legs. Insert two screws (part number 10121904) into the designated holes on each side of the chair frame's base to secure the leg supports.

Step 2

Attach the side rails to the chair legs. Ensure correct alignment as shown in the close-up diagrams (correct insertion indicated by an arrow [arrow], incorrect by a cross ❌). Use four screws (part number 10080238) to fasten the side rails securely.

Step 3

Attach a long bar to the chair frame. Insert the round part (part number 10102031) into the designated hole on the bar, followed by a nut. Ensure it is correctly seated as indicated by the close-up diagram.

Step 4

Attach the vertical support piece to the chair's base using the provided screws. Ensure proper alignment before tightening.

Step 5

Attach the crossbar to the vertical supports using the Allen key (part number 100049). Tighten the screws firmly but do not overtighten, as indicated by the 'STOP' symbol [STOP]. Avoid using a power drill, as shown by the warning symbol ⚠️.

Step 6

Repeat the process from Step 3: attach the long bar to the chair frame. Insert the round part (part number 10102031) into the designated hole on the bar, followed by a nut. Ensure it is correctly seated.

Step 7

Repeat the process from Step 4: attach the vertical support pieces to the chair's base using the provided screws. Ensure proper alignment before tightening.

Step 8

Repeat the process from Step 5: attach the crossbar to the vertical supports using the Allen key (part number 100049). Tighten the screws firmly but do not overtighten, as indicated by the 'STOP' symbol [STOP]. Avoid using a power drill, as shown by the warning symbol ⚠️.

Step 9

Attach the vertical support pieces to the chair's base using the provided screws. Ensure proper alignment before tightening.

Step 10

Attach two round parts (part number 10102031) to the top of the vertical supports. Secure them with screws.

Step 11

Insert the seat frame supports into the main chair structure, aligning them with the corresponding holes.

Step 12

Attach the crossbars to the main chair frame using the Allen key (part number 100049). Tighten the screws firmly but do not overtighten, as indicated by the 'STOP' symbol [STOP]. Avoid using a power drill, as shown by the warning symbol ⚠️. The diagram shows the chair being tilted for easier access.

Step 13

Attach the backrest to the chair frame. Use four screws to secure it in place. Ensure correct alignment and insertion as shown in the close-up diagrams. A warning symbol ⚠️ indicates caution.

Step 14

Secure the backrest by inserting two screws. The 'Click!' sound indicated in the close-up suggests that the parts are properly locked into place [Click!].

Step 15

Attach the seat base to the chair frame. Use four screws (part number 100049) to secure it. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten, as indicated by the 'STOP' symbol [STOP]. Avoid using a power drill, as shown by the warning symbol ⚠️.

Step 16

Attach the seat base to the chair frame using two screws (part number 106553).

Step 17

Attach the seat cushion support to the chair frame. Use three screws (part number 10101711) and three screws (part number 102930) to secure it.

Step 18

Insert the seat cushion support into its designated position on the chair frame.

Step 19

Secure the seat cushion support by inserting two screws (part number 105298).

Assembly Complete

The assembly of the SKANSNÄS chair is now complete. Ensure all screws are tightened appropriately and the chair is stable before use.
