Install the "Smart Life" APP
1. Download the "Smart Life" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can also scan the provided QR code [QR code for app download] to install it.
2. Open the app and navigate to the registration/login interface. Enter your phone number to receive a verification code and register an account.
Note: The free "Smart Life" app is compatible with mobile devices running iOS 8.0 or above, and Android 4.4 or above.
Connecting Your Device with APP
There are two primary connection modes: Easy Mode and AP Mode.
A. Easy Mode (Recommended)
- Ensure the device is connected to electricity. Open the "Smart Life" APP. Tap the "ADD DEVICES" button or the plus icon [add icon] located at the upper right corner of the page. Select your "Corresponding device".
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the device for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly. The app interface should now be on the "Add Device" page.
- Confirm that the indicator light is flashing rapidly in the app.
- Select your local Wi-Fi network and enter the correct password.
- Wait for the device to configure successfully, then tap "Done".
B. AP Mode
Use this mode if connecting via Easy Mode fails.
- On the "ADD DEVICE" page, switch to "AP Mode" (usually found in the upper right corner).
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the indicator light flashes slowly.
- Confirm that the indicator light is flashing slowly in the app.
- Select your local Wi-Fi network and enter the correct password.
- Tap "Connect Now". Your phone will prompt you to connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot named "SmartLife xxx". Select this hotspot and then return to the "Smart Life" application.
- Wait for the configuration to complete successfully, then tap "Done".
Getting to Know "Smart Life" APP
The "Smart Life" app offers various features to manage your smart devices.
A. Devices
You can add new devices by tapping the plus icon [add icon] at the top right of the main screen.
- 1. Switches: Control your devices remotely from anywhere, provided you have an internet connection. You can tap the device icon [device icon] to rename it or create device groups to control multiple devices simultaneously.
- 2. Timer: Schedule your devices to turn on or off automatically after a specified time.
- 3. Countdown: Set a countdown timer for your appliances to automatically switch on or off.
- 4. Statistics: If your device supports energy monitoring, you can view real-time and historical power consumption data here.
B. Scenes
Use this feature to create personalized scenes and automations for your smart home.
C. Profile
The Profile section is where users manage their personal information. It typically displays:
- Profile Picture
- Nickname
- Phone Number
- Device Sharing options
- Message Center
- Change Login Password
- Pattern Unlock settings
- Integration with Voice Assistants (e.g., Use Echo, Google Home)
- Experience Center
- Scan QR Code [QR code icon for app/service]
- FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
- Feedback options
Safety Information
- This device is recommended for indoor use in dry locations only. Ensure the power outlet used is rated appropriately for the device.
- Please contact the seller for a replacement if the device is damaged during transportation.
- Keep the device away from children.
- Ensure the device is properly powered/charged when in use for safety.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to install the device yourself, as this may lead to product damage or security risks.
Using Amazon Echo Quick Guide
Integrate your Smart Life device with Amazon Echo for voice control.
What You'll Need:
- Amazon Alexa APP & Account
- Smart Life APP & Account
Related Device:
Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Tap, or other Amazon voice-operated devices.
Tip:
Rename the device in the Smart Life app after successful configuration. It is recommended to use easy-to-pronounce English words for device names. (Note: Amazon Echo currently only supports English for the "Smart Life" skill).
Set Your Echo Speaker by Alexa APP:
- Sign in to your Alexa account and password. If you don't have one, register first. Select your region as "The United States".
- After logging in, click the menu icon [menu icon] at the top left, then select "Settings", and choose "Set up a new device".
- Select the type of device you are setting up (e.g., Echo).
- On the next screen, long press the small button on your Echo device until the light ring turns yellow. Then, click "Continue" in the Alexa App.

- Choose your Wi-Fi network and wait a few minutes for the connection to establish.
- After an introductory video, click "Next". Your Echo device is now connected to the Alexa App via Wi-Fi.
Enable Our Skill in Alexa APP:
- In the Alexa app, navigate to "Skills" from the options bar. Search for "Smart Life" in the search bar.
- Select "Smart Life" from the search results and click "Enable".
- You will be prompted to link your accounts. Enter the username and password for your Smart Life account (this typically supports accounts registered in the United States).
- A confirmation page will appear, indicating that your Alexa account has been successfully linked with your Smart Life account.

Control Your Device via Echo:
After linking your accounts and enabling the skill, you can control your smart devices using voice commands.
- Discovering devices: Say to your Echo device, "Echo (or Alexa), Discover my devices." Your Echo will begin searching for devices added in the Smart Life app. This process may take about 20 seconds to show results. Alternatively, you can click "Discover devices" within the Alexa app.

Attention: The name of the device as displayed in the Alexa app must be consistent with the name you assigned in the Smart Life app.
Note: "Echo" is one of the wake-up names for the device. You can also use "Alexa" or "Amazon" as wake-up words.
- Example Commands:
- "Alexa, turn on [device name]"
- "Alexa, turn off [device name]"
Warranty
This device is covered by a limited warranty provided to the original purchaser. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
The warranty does not cover damages resulting from normal wear and tear, alteration, misuse, neglect, accidents, service performed by unauthorized personnel, or acts of God.
During the warranty period, and upon verification of any defects, this product will be replaced upon presentation of valid proof of purchase.
