How to Use Your Evol 3
01 Place Charging Dock and Power It
Description: Position the charging dock against a wall, ensuring sufficient space on the sides and front. Connect the power adapter to the dock and a power outlet. Neatly store any excess power cord in the trunking located at the back of the charging dock.
02 Install the Side Brushes
Description: Attach the side brushes to their corresponding mounting points on the underside of the robot vacuum. Confirm they are securely fastened.
03 Start Cleaning
Description: Begin a cleaning cycle by pressing the power button on the robot, using the remote control, or activating it through the Laresmart mobile application.
04 Recharge Method
Description: The robot automatically returns to the charging dock to recharge after completing a cleaning task. It will also initiate recharging when the battery level falls to 15% or lower. Manual recharging is also an option at any time.
05 Important Considerations
❌ Obstacles such as power lines and loose debris on the floor can cause the robot to become entangled. Remove these items before starting a cleaning session.
❌ To prevent tangling, clean carpet tassels or ensure the robot operates on short-pile carpets.
❌ If furniture has gaps underneath less than 8cm, the robot may get stuck. Remove or reposition the furniture if cleaning is required in such areas.
✔️ For safety on multi-level floors, install a guardrail at the edge of staircases or other drop-offs.

Download the 'Laresmart' application by scanning the provided QR code or by searching for 'Laresmart' in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The app is compatible with devices running iOS 10.0 or higher, and Android 8.0 or higher. For optimal connection stability, keep the router, mobile phone, and robot vacuum in close proximity.
Connecting Your Device
Follow these steps to connect your Evol 3 robot vacuum to the Laresmart app:
- Add Device: Within the app, select either 'Add Manually' or 'Auto Scan' to find your robot.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the correct password. Please note: ensure your Wi-Fi network is set to 2.4GHz, not 5GHz. Double-check your Wi-Fi username and password for accuracy.
- Initiate Pairing Mode: Press and hold both buttons on the robot simultaneously for 5 seconds. Listen for a 'di di' sound and observe the Wi-Fi indicator light flashing slowly, signifying it is ready for pairing.
- Connect to Robot's Hotspot: On your mobile phone, connect to the 'SmartLife-XXX' Wi-Fi hotspot broadcast by the robot.
- Confirm Connection in App: Return to the Laresmart app and confirm the hotspot connection. The app will then proceed to connect the robot to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Connection Confirmation: Once successfully added, the device status will update to 'Added' or 'Successfully connected' within the app.
