Installation Instructions
General Information:
- Installation must be carried out in accordance with the current edition of the National Wiring Regulations. Consult a qualified electrician if in doubt.
- All luminaires become hot. It is the installer's responsibility to consider fire risk and take appropriate precautions.
- Input voltage: 220-240V 50/60Hz AC.
- IP65 rated luminaires are protected against dust and water jets, suitable for installation in bathroom zones 1 & 2 where water jets are likely.
- These luminaires are not dimmable.
- This is an LED luminaire with no user-serviceable parts.
- Class 2 luminaires MUST NOT be connected to an earth terminal.
- These luminaires are for indoor and outdoor use.
- These luminaires can be installed on the surface of combustible materials.
Installation Steps:
The following diagrams illustrate the installation process:
- Diagram 1: Shows how to connect the power supply, indicating ON/OFF switches.
- Diagram 2: Illustrates the luminaire housing.
- Diagram 3: Depicts the mounting mechanism.
- Diagram 4: Shows wiring connections, including options for using an IP65 gland and color-coded wires (Live - Brown (L), Neutral - Blue (N)).
- Diagram 5: Details the mounting bracket installation.
- Diagram 6: Shows the luminaire being attached to the bracket with screws.
- Diagram 7: Highlights the PIR sensor functionality, with adjustable LUX (0-350) and TIME (10sec - 180sec) settings.
- Diagram 8: Demonstrates the final connection and ON/OFF state.
Environmental Protection & Guarantee
- Environmental Protection (WEEE): Aurora's WEEE Reg.No. WEE/BG0130YX (UK Only). Products marked with the WEEE symbol must not be disposed of with household or commercial waste. Please separate and recycle responsibly. Contact your local authority or recycling center for advice. If a WEEE disposal fee was included at purchase, contact your supplier for take-back information.
- Guarantee: This product is guaranteed for 3 years from the date of purchase. The guarantee is invalid in case of improper use, installation, tampering, removal of the QC date label, installation in an improper working environment, or installation not according to the current National Wiring Regulations. Aurora is not responsible for installation costs associated with replacement. This warranty is in addition to statutory rights. Aurora reserves the right to alter specifications without prior notice.
