Controller Layout and Indicators

The GuliKit KingKong 2 PRO Controller features several indicators and buttons for optimal use:

The controller features standard gamepad buttons including A, B, X, Y, D-pad, Left and Right analog sticks, L, R, ZL, ZR shoulder buttons, and additional function buttons like Home, Plus (+), Minus (-), Gear (⚙️), and APG (?).

Pairing Instructions

Pair on Computer

Pair with Bluetooth (PC XINPUT Mode)

  1. Hold the Mode button on the controller to switch it to PC XINPUT mode.
  2. Press the Pairing button on the controller for 2 seconds to start pairing, indicated by a scrolling LED.
  3. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your computer, search for new devices, choose "GuliKit Controller", and connect.
  4. Pairing is completed once a successful connection to the new controller is shown.

Use with Wired Connection

Switch to the appropriate mode on the controller for your computer. Connect the controller and computer using a USB-C to USB-A cable. A USB-A port on the backside of a desktop computer is recommended.

Note: DINPUT is an older connection protocol on Windows, recommended for retro games or simulators. XINPUT mode is primarily used for new games on Windows.

Pair on Switch

Wireless Pairing

  1. Go to the controller settings on your Nintendo Switch.
  2. Press the Pairing button on the controller for 2 seconds to start pairing.
  3. Pairing is completed once the Switch shows a successful connection to the new controller.

Wired Pairing via Dock

Place your Nintendo Switch into its dock and set the Switch to pairing mode. Connect the GuliKit controller to the Switch dock using a USB-A to USB-C cable. The Switch will automatically connect to the controller. After a few seconds, you can unplug the cable, and the Switch will remain wirelessly paired with the controller. The controller can also be used with the cable plugged in as a wired controller.

Pair Wireless on Android, iOS, macOS Devices

  1. Hold the Mode button on the controller to switch it to Android iOS mode.
  2. Press the Pairing button on the controller for 2 seconds to start pairing, indicated by a scrolling LED.
  3. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your mobile phone or macOS device, search for new devices, choose "Xbox Wireless Controller", and connect.
  4. Pairing is completed once a successful connection to the new controller is shown.

Calibration

Calibration on Sticks, ZL, ZR

When the controller is on, simultaneously press the L, R, A, and D-pad Left buttons to perform an auto-quick calibration on the sticks, ZL, and ZR triggers. A vibration will occur upon completion. Do not touch the sticks, ZL, or ZR during the process.

Calibration on Gyroscope

When the controller is on, place it on a tabletop. Simultaneously press the Plus (+), Minus (-), A, and D-pad Left buttons to perform an auto-quick calibration on the gyroscope. A vibration will occur upon completion.

Note: Gyroscope calibration is not necessary if there are no issues with its performance.

Auto Pilot Gaming (APG)

APG Button (?)

APG Activation: Press the APG button for 3 seconds to start recording. A long vibration will indicate recording has begun. The controller will record all inputs until the button is pressed again to stop recording, or until 10 minutes have passed, at which point it will auto-stop. A short vibration signifies recording completion. Operations can be recorded for up to 10 minutes.

Auto Pilot Gaming Playback:

During Auto Pilot Gaming, the analog sticks can still be operated. Any button press, except for stick movements, will stop Auto Pilot Gaming.

Advanced Controller Settings

All settings are configured by holding the Gear (⚙️) button and then pressing the relevant button combination. Settings are cleared by default upon restart under normal mode but can be saved under Professional Player Mode.

The controller automatically shuts down if there is no button action for 10 minutes. It wakes up by pressing any of the A, B, X, Y, Home, or Mode buttons. The controller will not shut down under modes of auto-repeated Turbo shooting, Auto-Pilot Gaming, or wired connection.

Professional Player Mode

⚙️ + Mode button

  1. Short vibration: Activates Professional Player Mode. All settings will be saved even after restart.
  2. Long vibration: Reverts to default mode, performing a factory reset upon shutdown.

Repeated Shooting (Turbo)

⚙️ + A, B, X, Y, R, ZL, ZR

  1. One vibration: Hold the button to activate repeated shooting (20 shots per second). Release the button to stop.
  2. Two vibrations: Click to start continuous repeated shooting. Click again to stop.
  3. Long vibration: Cancels the setting and reverts to default.

A-B X-Y Interchange

⚙️ + ➕

  1. One vibration: Swaps the A-B and X-Y button functions.
  2. Long vibration: Cancels the setting and reverts to default.

Vibration Setting

⚙️ + ➕ / ➖

Use the Plus (➕) button to increase vibration and the Minus (➖) button to reduce it. There are 4 levels of vibration adjustment. The lowest level turns vibration off.

Share Auto Pilot Game File

⚙️ + ?

Turn on the controller, then press the Gear (⚙️) button and APG (?) button together to enter Read/Write mode. Connect the controller to a PC with a USB data cable. A flash drive named "GuliKit dat" will appear, containing an "Auto.apg" file, which is the APG recording file for Auto Pilot Gaming. You can copy this file to share with friends or replace it with others' files on this drive.

Note: The controller will automatically turn off after the "Auto.apg" file replacement is completed. You can also double-click the Mode button to turn off the controller.

Motion Sense Aim Assist on PC

⚙️ + L / ZL

  1. One vibration: Low sensitivity.
  2. Two vibrations: Medium sensitivity.
  3. Three vibrations: High sensitivity.
  4. Long Vibration: Cancels Motion Sense Aim Assist.

Note: ⚙️ + L buttons activate Motion Sense Aim Assist when pressing L in-game. ⚙️ + ZL buttons activate Motion Sense Aim Assist when pressing ZL in-game.

Clear All Settings

⚙️ + ➖

A long vibration indicates that all settings have been cleared.

No Dead Zone Mode

⚙️ + ?

  1. Short vibration: Activates no dead zone in the stick center.
  2. Long vibration: Cancels the setting and reverts to default.

ZL ZR Sensitivity Setting

⚙️ + ➕ / ➖

  1. One vibration: 600% higher sensitivity.
  2. Long vibration: Cancels the setting and reverts to default.

Note: ⚙️ + D-pad Left button adjusts ZL trigger sensitivity. ⚙️ + D-pad Right button adjusts ZR trigger sensitivity.

Stick Sensitivity Setting

⚙️ + R3 / L3

  1. One vibration: 50% sensitivity.
  2. Two vibrations: 100% sensitivity (default value).
  3. Three vibrations: 150% sensitivity.

Note: R3 and L3 refer to pressing the stick down. Each stick's sensitivity is set individually.
