2. Preparing the X10 Pro Omni
2.1 Important Tips Before Use
A. Obstacle Removal: Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that may get caught by the RoboVac.
B. Carpet Edges: Fold the tassels of carpets to prevent them from getting tangled with the RoboVac. Avoid cleaning high-pile carpets or carpets thicker than 0.71 inches / 18 mm, as this may cause malfunctions.
C. Area Protection: It is strongly recommended to place physical barriers or set up "Forbidden Zones" via the app in front of fireplaces and certain areas (e.g., vents) that could be damaged if the RoboVac enters them.
D. Liquid Avoidance: Avoid vacuuming large amounts of water, as this can damage the device.
E. Low Obstacles: The RoboVac may climb onto objects less than 0.79 inches / 20 mm high. Remove these objects if possible.
F. Drop Sensor Limitations: Drop sensors prevent the RoboVac from falling down stairs or off ledges in most cases. However, sensors are less effective when dirty or on carpeted/reflective floors. Place physical barriers or set up "Forbidden Zones" to block areas where the RoboVac might fall.
2.2 Installing the Omni Station
Step 1: Attach the detachable base by pressing down firmly on both sides. Ensure the base clicks smoothly into the Omni Station, otherwise the RoboVac may not return to the station properly.
Step 2: Place the Omni Station in a location with a strong Wi-Fi signal and easy access for the RoboVac. It is recommended to place it against a wall on a hard, flat surface.
Placement Guidelines:
- 1.6ft / 0.5m clearance on each side of the station.
- 4.9ft / 1.5m clearance in front of the station.
2.3 Charging Your RoboVac
Step 1: Remove the foam blocks and camera protective sticker before use.
Step 2: Connect the RoboVac to the Omni Station. The RoboVac will automatically power on and begin charging.
Note: The mop pads will automatically clean and dry when the RoboVac returns to the Omni Station.
2.4 Auto-Recharge and Resume with Omni Station
The RoboVac automatically returns to the Omni Station to recharge when:
- The RoboVac has finished cleaning.
- Cleaning is not completed, and the battery level becomes low. Once the battery level is sufficiently charged to complete the cleaning task, the RoboVac will resume and finish the remaining cleaning.
Important: Do not move the Omni Station during cleaning. Do not unplug the Omni Station, as this may prevent the RoboVac from returning to charge.
3. Using the X10 Pro Omni with the App
To enjoy all available features, it is recommended to control the RoboVac via the app. Before you start, ensure:
- Your smartphone runs iOS 11.0 (or later) or Android 8.0 (or later).
- The 2.4GHz Wi-Fi band is enabled on your wireless router.
3.1 Download the App
- Download the app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices), or by clicking the provided link.
- Open the app and create a user account.
- Tap the "+" icon to add your RoboVac to your eufy account.
- Follow the app's instructions to set up the Wi-Fi connection.
After successful connection, you can control the RoboVac through the app. You can select cleaning modes, set desired suction power, schedule cleaning, view system status, set "Forbidden Zones", receive notifications, and access more features.
If the RoboVac gets stuck somewhere, tap "Find My Robot" in the app to locate the device.
3.2 Resetting Wi-Fi Connection
If you encounter issues connecting the RoboVac to the app, try resetting the Wi-Fi connection. Press and hold the "Home" and "Spot Cleaning" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until you hear an audio prompt.
When the Wi-Fi connection is reset, you will hear an audio alert, and the RoboVac's LED indicators will flash blue rapidly. You can now follow the app's instructions to set up the Wi-Fi connection.
3.3 Setting No-Go and No-Mop Zones
The app allows you to set a "Forbidden Zone" or "No-Mop Zone" as a restricted area. This eliminates the need for physical barriers like boundary tape. This feature is solely for dividing cleaning zones, not for isolating hazardous areas.
- Forbidden Zone: The RoboVac will not enter the zone to vacuum.
- No-Mop Zone: The RoboVac will not enter the zone to mop.
3.4 Scheduling Cleaning
You can schedule the RoboVac to start cleaning at a specific time using the app. The app allows you to set times and customize cleaning schedules from Sunday to Saturday. This feature is only available in the app.
3.5 Selecting Cleaning Mode
You can start/pause cleaning or select a cleaning mode via the app.
3.5.1 Home Cleaning Mode
Tap the "Start" button in the app to activate Cleaning Mode. After starting, the RoboVac will leave the Omni Station, automatically determine its cleaning path, cleaning the edges first, then following a Z-shaped path. Once cleaning is complete, the RoboVac will automatically return to the Omni Station.
3.5.2 Room Cleaning
In this mode, your home is automatically divided into multiple rooms for cleaning within the app. You can also customize room settings in the app. The RoboVac will only clean the selected rooms and then return to the Omni Station after cleaning.
Note: Enable room cleaning only after the RoboVac has completed mapping. It is recommended to start the RoboVac from the Omni Station to begin room cleaning.
3.5.3 Zone Cleaning
In this mode, you can set a cleaning zone and customize its size in the app. The RoboVac will only clean the selected zone.
3.5.4 Spot Cleaning Mode
In this mode, the RoboVac intensively cleans a 4.9ft x 4.9ft / 1.5m x 1.5m area, which is useful if a specific spot has a larger amount of dust or debris. Once the cleaning of a specific zone is completed, it will automatically return to the Omni Station.
Press the RoboVac's Spot Cleaning button to start Spot Cleaning mode.
3.6 Selecting Suction Level
In the app, select a suction level according to your needs: Quiet, Normal (Default), Turbo, and Max.
Note: The next time the RoboVac starts cleaning, it will operate at the previously selected suction level.
You can also select the BoostIQ™ function in the app as needed. The RoboVac automatically increases suction power when it detects that stronger performance is required for optimal cleaning. BoostIQ™ is ideal for cleaning thicker carpets and hard-to-clean dirt, reducing overall cleaning time but increasing noise levels. If the vacuuming noise caused by BoostIQ™ bothers you, you can disable this feature.
4. Using the Mopping System
Step 1: Start cleaning. The RoboVac will automatically vacuum and mop. While mopping, you can choose from three water levels via the app.
Step 2: When the RoboVac finishes cleaning, clean the dirty water tank to prevent mold or unpleasant odors. Refer to the "Cleaning and Maintenance" section of the manual for instructions on cleaning the dirty water tank.
5. Using RoboVac with Amazon Alexa / Google Assistant
Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant are smart voice control devices that allow you to control the RoboVac with your voice. Before you start, ensure:
- The RoboVac is connected to the Omni Station for sufficient power.
- The RoboVac is connected to the app.
- You have an Amazon Alexa-compatible device (e.g., Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Amazon Tap, Echo Show, or Echo Spot), or a Google Assistant-compatible device (e.g., Google Home, Google Home Mini). These devices are sold separately.
- The Amazon Alexa app or Google Home app is already installed on your smart device, and you have created an account.
To control the RoboVac using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant:
- Open the app and find the "Smart Integrations" option in the top-left corner.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
6. Enabling/Disabling Child Lock
Press and hold the local cleaning button for 5 seconds to activate the child lock. When the child lock is enabled, all buttons will be locked to prevent children from damaging the device or getting accidentally injured.
To disable the child lock, press and hold the local cleaning button again for 5 seconds. This function is also available in the app.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning and maintenance, turn off the device and unplug the power supply. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
