DESCRIPTION

The LMGS-150 graphic switch is a native DLM wired device with a 5.7" capacitive touch LCD display that enables simple control for complex spaces. The user interface provides an intuitive professional experience for whole room control of lights, shades, and scenes. The LMGS-150 supports Wattstopper Plug n Go™ (PnG) for simplicity to automatically configure screens for Home, Lights, Shades, and Scenes. The LMGS-150 is fully programmable with LMCS-100 software, enabling facility managers to customize button text, icons, and sequence of operations.

OPERATION

The LMGS-150 connects to the DLM local network using a single Cat5e cable for communication and 24VDC low voltage power. For ease of design and installation, each LMGS-150 includes a plenum rated KO mount power supply (LMPB-100). The LMGS-150 can support up to 8 configurable screens and multiple programmable button types. A DLM room can support up to two LMGS-150 units. The LMGS-150 is field upgradeable to provide optimal user experience throughout the entire life of the product.

APPLICATIONS

The LMGS-150 is ideal for office buildings, educational facilities, and healthcare spaces where multiple zones of control exist. It is optimal for spaces with lights and shades to enable combined control in a single simple interface. The LMGS-150 can also be used to control loads in other spaces by setting up network group commands. The initial release of LMGS-150 is not applicable for partitioned rooms.

Side View: 1.24" (32mm) depth.

Top View: Shows RJ45 port and mounting tabs.

MOUNTING

The LMGS-150 Graphic Switch is designed to mount onto a standard single-gang junction box or low voltage ring, using the supplied mounting plate with a security screw. The LMGS-150 then attaches to the mounting plate via tabs and slots. Recommended mounting height per ADA 2010 Design Standards is no higher than 48" above finished floor.

Diagram shows a junction box, a mounting plate, and the LMGS-150 unit. An LMRJ cable connects to the junction box and the mounting plate.

CONNECTIVITY

Diagram illustrates the system connections. A Ceiling Mount Sensor connects via DLM Local Network Low Voltage LMRJ Cables to a Room Controller. The Room Controller connects to a Deep J-Box. Line Voltage (Line/Hot Black wire, Neutral White wire) connects to the load. The load (Switched with 0-10 Volt control Dimming Ballast LED Driver, etc.) receives power. 0-10V Class 1 Pink and Purple wires go to the load. The LMPB-100 is connected to the Deep J-Box. The LMGS-150 connects to the LMPB-100 via an LMRJ cable.

Maximum cable distance between the LMGS-150 and the LMPB-100 is 100 ft.

Note: After a power loss event, the LMGS-150 will automatically restart when power is restored to the IRB local network. The LMGS-150 takes approximately 90 seconds to restart before the user interface is available to control loads. After a power loss, all loads will return to their previous state by default. Using LMCS, loads can be individually configured to turn On or Off.

PLUG 'N GO OPERATION

The DLM Graphic Switch supports PnG to automatically create default screens and graphical buttons based on the load types in the room. All supported lighting loads are bound to lighting buttons and sliders on the Home, Lights, and Scenes pages. All supported shade loads are bound to shading buttons on the Home and Shades pages. Tapping the Hamburger menu allows navigation between the available screens.

Note: All user interface customization is done using LMCS-100. Visit www.legrand.us/wattstopper/software for more information.

Note: LMCP panels and LMZC-301 zone controllers do not support PnG.
