Charging the Unit

The unit is delivered partially charged and requires a full 20-hour charge before first use. Use only the supplied AC charging adapter. Ensure all power switches are OFF during charging.

Procedure:

1. Connect the AC charging adapter to the unit and a standard 120V AC outlet.
2. Charge for approximately 20 hours or until the Battery Status Icon shows 4 solid bars.
3. Disconnect the AC charging adapter when charging is complete.

Important Charging Notes:

• Recharge the battery after each use to prolong its life.
• Do not overcharge or deeply discharge the battery frequently.
• Turn off all other unit functions during recharging.
• Failure to keep the battery charged can cause permanent damage.

Viewing Battery Status

The LCD screen displays the battery charge level via the Battery Status Icon:

• Four solid bars: Full charge.
• Two or three solid bars: Partially charged.
• One solid bar: Nearly empty; recharge needed.
• Four empty bars: Completely empty; unit must be recharged or low voltage protection will activate.

Wireless Charging

The built-in wireless charging feature is compatible with most wireless charging devices.

1. Press the Wireless Charging Button. The LCD screen will indicate readiness.
2. Place the device in the center of the Wireless Charging Pad.
3. Press the Wireless Charging Button again to turn off the feature when charging is complete.

Jump-Starter Operation

This section details the procedure for jump-starting a vehicle's battery.

Safety Precautions:

• Ensure immediate assistance is available in case of accident or emergency.
• Never smoke or allow sparks near batteries or engines.
• Keep away from moving parts like fan blades and belts.
• Remove metal jewelry when working with batteries.
• Do not wear vinyl clothing due to static electricity risk.
• Avoid dropping metal tools onto the battery.
• Perform jump-starting in a safe, well-ventilated area.
• Never touch battery clamps together.
• Keep clamps, clothing, and body parts away from moving vehicle parts.
• Never allow red and black clamps to touch each other or a common metal conductor.
• If clamps are connected incorrectly, the unit will sound an alarm and display reverse polarity icons. Disconnect and reconnect with correct polarity.
• Always disconnect the negative (black) cable first, then the positive (red) cable.
• Do not expose battery to fire or intense heat.
• Place the unit as far from the battery as cables permit.
• Never allow battery acid to contact the unit.
• Do not operate in a closed area or restrict ventilation.
• This system is designed for 12-volt DC battery systems only.
• Do not use as a replacement for a vehicular battery.
• Excessive engine cranking can damage the starter motor. Discontinue if the engine fails to start after recommended attempts.
• Do not use on watercraft.
• Keep the unit upright during storage and use.

Procedure:

1. Turn off vehicle ignition and all accessories. Place vehicle in park and set the emergency brake.
2. Connect the Boost Cables Connector to the unit's Clamp Connection Slot.
3. Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle battery.
4. Connect the black clamp to the chassis or a solid metal vehicle component (for negative ground systems).
5. The LCD screen will indicate readiness for jump-starting.
6. Turn on the ignition and crank the engine in 5-6 second bursts.
7. Once the engine starts, disconnect the negative (-) clamp first, then the positive (+) clamp.

Important Notes:

• If the unit malfunctions after jump-starting, recharge it to reset.
• Detach and store the Boost Cables Connector when not in use.
• Turn the unit off when not in use and recharge fully after each use.

Alternator Check

This feature tests the vehicle's alternator output.

Procedure:

1. Connect the unit as described in the Jump-Starter section.
2. Part 1 (No Load): Turn off all vehicle accessories. Run the engine to normal idle speed. Press the Alternator Check Button. The LCD will display analysis status. If the alternator is good, it will display "ALT GOOD". If out of range, it will display "ALT" with a flashing Fault Icon.
3. Part 2 (Under Load): Turn on as many accessories as possible (except A/C and Defrost). Press the Alternator Check Button again. The LCD will display analysis status. If the alternator is good, it will display "ALT GOOD". If out of range, it will display "ALT" with a flashing Fault Icon.
4. Press the Alternator Check Button again to stop the test.

Important Notes:

• Ensure the alternator is rated to support the application.
• This check is for 12-volt systems only and may not be accurate for all vehicles.

Portable Compressor

The built-in compressor can inflate tires and other inflatables up to 120 PSI.

Safety Precautions:

• Follow all safety instructions for compressors.
• Never exceed the recommended pressure for the item being inflated.
• Monitor the pressure gauge at all times.
• Do not leave the compressor unattended while in use.
• Do not operate continuously for longer than 10 minutes to prevent overheating. If longer operation is needed, turn off and allow to cool for 30 minutes.

Inflating Tires or Products with Valve Stems:

1. Screw the Sure Fit® nozzle onto the valve stem.
2. Press the Compressor Power Button. The LCD will display the current pressure.
3. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired pressure (3-120 PSI).
4. Press the Compressor Power Button again to begin inflating.
5. The compressor will stop automatically when the desired pressure is reached.
6. Press the Compressor Power Button to turn off the unit.
7. Unscrew the nozzle and allow the unit to cool before storing.

Inflating Other Inflatables Without Valve Stems:

1. Screw the nozzle adapter into the Sure Fit® nozzle.
2. Insert the nozzle adapter into the item to be inflated.
3. Follow steps 2-4 from the "Inflating Tires" procedure.
4. Take care not to over-inflate small items.
5. Disconnect the adapter and allow the unit to cool before storing.

USB Power Ports

The USB ports provide power to external USB devices (5V each, 3.1A total).

Important Notes:

• The unit does not support data communication; only power output.
• Some household USB electronics may not operate with this unit.
• If a fault condition occurs (low battery voltage, overload, short circuit), the USB ports will shut down. The LCD will display fault information. Disconnect the USB device, allow the unit to cool, and check the battery level before attempting to use the USB ports again.

Using the USB Ports:

1. Press the USB Power Button to activate the ports. The USB Power/Fault Indicators will light blue.
2. Plug the USB-powered device into the port(s).
3. Press the USB Power Button again to turn off the ports.

Important: Turn off USB ports when recharging or storing the unit.

LED Area Light

The LED Area Light is controlled by its dedicated power button.

1. Press the Area Light Power Button to turn the light on.
2. Press the button again to turn it off.

Care and Maintenance

• Recharge the battery at least every 30 days if the unit is not in use.
• Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.
