Product Overview
The DOSS SoundBox XL features several controls and ports:
- 1. Power button: Long press to turn the device ON/OFF.
- 2. Mode switch: Press the 'M' button to switch modes.
- 3. LED lights (1-4): Indicate Bluetooth mode, AUX in mode, TF card mode, and battery status.
- 4. Volume control: Use '-' to decrease volume and '+' to increase volume.
- 5. Track Back button: Press to go to the previous track.
- 6. Play/Pause button: Press to stop playback and press again to resume.
- 7. Track Forward button: Press to go to the next track.
- 8. Power port: DC 12V 2.5A input for charging.
- 9. LED charging light: Steady red indicates charging; light off indicates fully charged.
- 10. AUX in: Connect compatible devices using a cable for playback.
- 11. TF card slot: For TF card playback. Supports MP3, WAV, WMV formats. Recommended to use cards formatted to FAT32, 32GB or smaller.
Visual Description of Controls: The speaker has a rectangular form factor. Status Indicators
The LED lights provide status information:
- Indicator 1 (Blue): Flashing blue means the speaker is in pairing mode; Steady blue means the device is successfully paired.
- Indicator 2 (Red): Steady red indicates the mode has switched to AUX in successfully.
- Indicator 3 (White): Steady white indicates the mode has switched to TF card successfully.
- Indicator 4 (Red): Flashing red indicates low battery power.
Charging Indicator: Steady red light means the battery is charging. The light turns off when the battery is fully charged.
Preparation
- Connect the supplied DC 12V 2.5A power adapter to the charging port on the back of the speaker. Ensure the power supply is within the 100V-240V standard.
- Ensure the speaker is fully charged before first use. Charging takes approximately 2-3 hours.
- The LED charging light glows red while charging and turns off when fully charged.
- To turn the speaker ON or OFF, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
Pairing the Wireless Speaker with Your Smart Device
- Place your smart device and speaker no more than one meter apart.
- Turn on the speaker by pressing the power button for 2 seconds. A tone will be heard, and the blue LED will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- Set your smart device to "discover" Bluetooth devices.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device and select "DOSS SoundBox XL" from the list of available devices.
- If pairing is successful, the LED will turn solid blue, and your device will confirm the connection. If pairing fails after 60 seconds, repeat the process.
Troubleshooting

Also, check the song format; the speaker only supports MP3, WAV, WMV. There might be a problem with the song's format; try deleting songs of the same problematic format. |
