Product Maintenance Instructions
Drying for Storage
To avoid damage caused by mold:
- If the tent is stored while damp, it can develop mold and be damaged. If you store the tent after rain or dew condensation, set it up immediately upon returning home to ensure it is completely dry before long-term storage.
- In high humidity conditions, take extra care to prevent mold. Mildew can be cleaned with a diluted white vinegar solution (5 parts water to 1 part white vinegar).
Cleaning for Storage
Before long-term storage, clean dirt and other debris from the tent, poles, floor nails, and accessories. Using a waterproof floor cloth is recommended to extend the tent's lifespan and keep it clean. Ensure the zipper is clean and use zipper lubricant occasionally. The best method for cleaning is with water and a soft brush, followed by thorough drying. Avoid alkaline or irritating cleaning products, as they can damage the water-repellent coating.
