Access more features using the Govee Home App.
Downloading Govee Home App
Scan the QR code or search for "Govee" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download the Govee Home App.
Note: Grant necessary permissions for the app to function correctly. Due to ongoing updates, the app interface may differ slightly from the manual.
Pairing with Govee Home App
Add the Wi-Fi Gateway
Note: Ensure your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network is functioning properly before pairing.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and place it near the Wi-Fi Gateway. Ensure Location Services/GPS is enabled for Android users.
- Open Govee Home App, tap the "+" icon, and select "H5151".
- Follow the in-app instructions to complete pairing.
- The Wi-Fi Gateway icon will appear on the "Device" page upon successful pairing.
- If pairing fails, recheck the steps and try again.
Add the Thermo-Hygrometer (H5110)
- Pull out the battery insulator sheet from the thermo-hygrometer.
- (Optional) Stick the numbered stickers to the thermo-hygrometers for classification.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and place it near the thermo-hygrometer. Ensure Location Services/GPS is enabled for Android users.
- Open Govee Home App, tap the "+" icon, and select "H5110".
- Follow the in-app instructions to complete pairing. It is recommended to name the thermo-hygrometer with a corresponding number (e.g., "2 Kitchen").
- Repeat the steps to add other thermo-hygrometers.
Note: If multiple sensors are detected during pairing, keep unpaired sensors away from the phone. The name of the sensor to be paired will flash when it is close to the phone.
Pairing Sensors with the Wi-Fi Gateway
- Tap "?" (Settings icon) in the top right corner.
- Tap on your gateway.
- Select "Add a new sub-device".
- Tap "➕" to add a sensor and "?" to save.
- Pairing is successful when the "?" (notification) icon appears.
Installing Your Device
- Remove the battery compartment cover from the open slot.
- Thread the lanyard through the lanyard hole.
- Close the back cover.

Note: Communication distance may be reduced by obstacles like metal doors or thick walls.
Troubleshooting
- Wi-Fi gateway connection issues (unstable or failed):
- Ensure you are using a 2.4 GHz network.
- Verify network name and password, avoiding special characters.
- Place the device within router signal range (within 100m/328ft).
- Minimize obstructions like metal doors or thick walls.
- Thermo-hygrometer not working or not found:
- Remove the battery insulator sheet.
- Check or replace the battery.
- Keep the smartphone close to the thermo-hygrometer.
- Reduce distance and obstructions between the thermo-hygrometer and Wi-Fi gateway.
- Delayed or missing notification alerts:
- Enable necessary permissions for the Govee Home App.
- Reduce distance and obstructions between the thermo-hygrometer and Wi-Fi gateway.
- Faulty readings or disconnection:
- Reduce distance and obstructions between the thermo-hygrometer and Wi-Fi gateway.
- Unpair and re-pair all H5110 thermo-hygrometers in the app.
- Replace the battery.
Warning
- Operate within -20°C to 60°C and 0% to 99% humidity.
- Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
- Avoid dropping the device.
- Do not disassemble the device aggressively.
- Do not immerse the device in water.
- Repairs should only be performed by qualified specialists. Ensure the Gateway is near an accessible power socket for emergency disconnection. Avoid handling with wet hands or contact with water.
