Troubleshooting
The manual provides a table of symptoms and potential problems, along with checks to perform before requesting service. Common issues include:
- Normal Function: Unit not operating immediately (compressor protection), noise from water flow or expansion/contraction, smells, mist/steam emission, weak airflow during heating or monitor operation, water from outdoor unit during heating.
- Check Once More: Unit not operating at all (power supply, fuse, timer), poor cooling performance (dirty filter, blocked ports, incorrect thermostat setting, open windows, sunlight, heat sources, people), unit operating differently from remote controller (SUPER QUIET setting, dead batteries).
If problems persist, stop operation, disconnect power, and consult authorized service personnel.
Operating Tips
Operation and Performance: The air conditioner uses a heat-pump principle. Heating performance may be reduced in cold weather. Heat-pump units recirculate air, so the room takes time to heat up.
Microcomputer-controlled Automatic Defrosting: During low temperatures and high humidity, frost may form on the outdoor unit. The unit will temporarily stop and defrost automatically. The OPERATION Indicator Lamp will flash during this process.
AUTO Restart: In case of power interruption, the air conditioner will restart automatically in its previous mode when power is restored. If a power failure occurs during timer operation, the timer may reset.
Temperature and Humidity Range: Recommended operating ranges for Cooling, Dry, and Heating modes are provided. Using the unit outside these ranges may cause damage or reduced performance.
Specifications
Detailed specifications are provided for the indoor and outdoor units, including model numbers, type, power requirements, cooling and heating capacity, power input, current, energy efficiency ratio, airflow, maximum pressure, refrigerant type, dimensions, and weight.
