Installation

The TV should be installed near an AC power outlet that can be easily plugged and unplugged. If you intend to install a TV wall mount, it is recommended to use an authorized TV wall mount. Ensure correct screw diameter and length are used, as failure to do so may cause the TV to fall or lead to internal damage.

Moving the TV

Disconnect all cables before moving the TV. Large TVs require two or more people for safe movement. Avoid applying pressure to the LED panel, shaking the TV, or exposing it to excessive vibrations. When moving the TV, use the original box and packaging materials.

Ventilation

Do not cover ventilation holes or insert objects into the case. Maintain adequate space around the TV for proper ventilation.

AC Power Cord Usage

Use the AC power cord and socket according to the instructions to prevent fire, electric shock, damage, or injury. Ensure the plug is fully inserted into the AC outlet and use a 200-240V AC power supply. Disconnect the AC power cord for safety when connecting cables and be careful not to trip over them. Keep the cord away from heat and clean the plug regularly. Avoid pinching, bending, modifying, or twisting the cord. Do not place heavy objects on the cord, pull it when disconnecting power, or connect too many devices to the same outlet. Do not use unsuitable outlets.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

If the AC power cord is damaged, the AC outlet is unsuitable, the TV is damaged due to a drop or impact, or liquid/solid objects enter the case, turn off the TV, unplug the AC power cord immediately, and contact a Xiaomi repair center.

Stability Hazard

WARNING: The television set may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Never place a television set in an unstable location. To prevent injuries, especially to children, always use recommended cabinets or stands, furniture that can safely support the TV, ensure the TV does not overhang furniture edges, educate children about climbing dangers, and route cables safely to prevent tripping. Never place the TV on tall furniture without anchoring, on cloth/materials between the TV and furniture, or place tempting items on top of the TV or furniture.

Usage Restrictions

Do not install or use the TV in places, environments, or conditions that could cause malfunction, fire, electric shock, damage, or injury. This includes outdoor use, direct sunlight, proximity to water, damp/dusty/hot environments, places with insects, mechanical shock exposure, or near flammable objects. Avoid exposure to water splashes and do not place liquid-containing items on the TV. Do not use with wet hands, an open case, or unauthorized accessories. Disconnect from power during lightning storms and do not install outdoors.

TV Screen Damage

Do not throw objects at the TV, as this can break the screen and cause serious injury. If the screen surface is damaged, do not touch the TV before unplugging the AC power cord to avoid electric shock.

Precautions for Use

Watch TV in appropriate lighting conditions. Insufficient light or prolonged viewing can damage eyesight. The screen and case may get hot during operation, which is normal. The TV does not support decoding of DTS-CD bitstream from HDMI IN.

Before cleaning, ensure the AC power cord is disconnected. To prevent deterioration of casing materials or screen coating corrosion, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Wall Mounting

To ensure proper ventilation and prevent dust buildup, do not mount the TV flat, upside-down, backward, or sideways. Do not place it on shelves, carpets, beds, or in closets. Do not cover the TV with fabric or newspapers. Forward leaning suspension is prohibited. Ensure the correct screws (typically M8, 30mm length, quantity 4 for the specified model) are used for wall mounting to prevent TV falling or internal damage.
