Wear and Care
To keep your device clean and your skin healthy:
- Clean your band and wrist regularly, especially after workouts or sweating. Rinse the band with water or wipe with rubbing alcohol. Avoid soaps and household cleaners, which can irritate skin. Pat the band dry before re-wearing.
- The iTech Fusion is IP67 water-resistant, meaning it can withstand splashes and rain but should not be submerged deeper than one meter for longer than 30 minutes. Swimming is not advised.
- If the smartwatch gets wet, remove it until dry. Avoid wearing a wet band for extended periods.
- Ensure the band is worn loosely enough to move on your wrist. Give your wrists a break by removing the band for an hour or two after extended wear to prevent irritation from prolonged rubbing and pressure.
Important Tips: If you have allergies, asthma, or eczema, you may be more susceptible to skin irritation. If irritation occurs, remove the device. Consult a dermatologist if symptoms persist after 2-3 days of not wearing the device.
Update, Restart, and Erase
If you encounter syncing issues, problems with connected GPS, or stat tracking:
- Restart: Power off and restart your tracker from your wrist (navigate to the turn-off screen and hold the button) or via the app.
- Factory Reset: If restarting doesn't resolve the issue, tap Factory Reset Smartwatch in the app's Device settings.
