Fitting the Brackets
The brackets offer two methods of installation:
Top-Fixing
Use the front two holes in the top of the bracket to fix to the lintel (the 'ceiling' of the recess).
An illustration shows a bracket with two holes at the top. Arrows indicate screws passing through these holes into a horizontal surface representing a lintel.
Face-Fixing
Use two screws through the back plate to mount onto a facing surface (a wall or window frame).
An illustration shows a bracket with screws passing through its back plate onto a vertical surface representing a wall or window frame.
Bracket Spacing Note: The position of the outermost brackets should be at least 5cm away from the ends of the rail, with any other brackets evenly distributed across the width.
A diagram shows a horizontal rail with two brackets at the ends. Markers indicate a 5cm distance from each end of the rail to the center of the respective bracket.
Fitting the Shade
Step 1: Holding the rail at an angle, situate the T-shaped lip on the top of the cassette into the front lip of the bracket.
A side-view illustration depicts a bracket and a shade cassette. The cassette has a T-shaped lip at its front top edge. The illustration shows this lip being inserted into the front lip of the bracket.
Step 2: Twist the back of the cassette upwards until it snaps into place against the back lip of the bracket.
A subsequent illustration shows the back of the cassette being twisted upwards, with an arrow indicating the motion, until it clicks into place against the back lip of the bracket.
