Detection Coverage

Ceiling Mounted Coverage: Depicts a circular pattern showing detection zones from mounting height 1 to 8.
Wall Mounted Coverage: Depicts an oval pattern showing detection zones from mounting height 1 to 6.
Settings
The sensor's behavior can be customized using DIP switches and by setting the daylight threshold.
DIP Switch Settings
- Detection Area: Adjusts the detection coverage by combining DIP switches for specific applications.
- Hold-time: Determines the duration the light remains ON after the last detection. Options include 5s, 60s, 3min, and 10min.
- Daylight Threshold: Sets the ambient light level at which the sensor will operate. Options include 5 Lux or Disable. If disabled, the sensor only responds to motion.
Switch UP/DOWN Functionality
- Switch UP: Corresponds to 100% for Detection Area and 10 min for Hold-time.
- Switch DOWN: Corresponds to 50% for Detection Area and 5s for Hold-time.
- Daylight Threshold: Switch UP for 5 Lux, Switch DOWN for Disable.
Application Examples
The HD08S sensor can be used in various scenarios to automate lighting:
- With sufficient daylight: Even when motion is detected, the light remains OFF.
- With insufficient daylight: When motion is detected, the light turns ON.
- After last detection: The light turns OFF after the hold time has elapsed following the last detected motion.
