This is a foldable solar panel designed for charging portable solar generators. The efficient solar cells are recyclable and differ from physical batteries, which have a limited cycle life. Even after 5 years of use, the solar cells can still achieve over 80% of their original efficiency.

How it Works
1. Placement and Angle Adjustment
Place your solar panel in an area that receives the maximum possible sunlight. Adjust the angle of the panel to face the sun directly for optimal performance.
- Optimal Angle: Position the panel perpendicular to the sun's rays (90° angle).
- Recommended Angle: For best charging effect, angle the solar panel at 30-60 degrees relative to the sun's direction.
- Surface Considerations: If panels must be placed on other surfaces, avoid damp or irregular surfaces that could cause distortion. Performance may be affected by long periods of exposure to indirect sunlight.
- Natural Conditions: In natural environments, actual power output may range from 425-500W due to variations in sunlight intensity and angle.
2. Connecting to a Solar Generator
Connect the solar panel to your solar generator. Before charging, it is recommended to turn off your devices to reduce power consumption and shorten charging time.

Connecting Multiple Solar Modules
You can connect multiple solar panels together for increased power output. The ALLPOWERS AP-SP-039 utilizes MC4 connectors for these connections.

- Connecting Modules: To add more panels, use the MC4 Y-connectors to connect panels in series or parallel.
- Output Voltage: When panels are connected in series, the voltage is added. When connected in parallel, the current is added.
- Compatibility: Only solar panels with similar electrical output should be connected in the same string to avoid mismatch issues.
- Polarity: When connecting panels in parallel (positive to positive, negative to negative), the voltage remains unchanged, but the current is added.
- Power Output: For maximum power output, connect the solar panel input to the portable power station first, and then connect the solar panels within the voltage range.
MC4 Connectors
- Keep MC4 connectors clean and dry. Ensure connector caps are hand-tight before connecting the panel.
- Do not attempt to make electrical connections with wet or soiled connectors, or connectors that are faulty.

- Do not attempt to modify the internal circuitry. ALLPOWERS is not responsible for any issues arising from unauthorized modifications.
- Warranty: ALLPOWERS offers a 3-year material and workmanship guarantee. The output power is guaranteed to be 80% within 5 years and 50% within 10 years. If the power loss exceeds 3% per year, ALLPOWERS will address the issue.
- The solar panel charger is equipped with anti-flow protection to prevent backflow.
- Avoid stepping, standing, or jumping on the solar panel surface. Scratches or cracks can affect its performance and potentially pose a safety risk.
- If the solar panel is damaged, cease use immediately and contact a professional or the manufacturer for assistance. Do not attempt self-repair.
- The solar panel has a waterproof rating of IP65, allowing it to withstand immersion in water for short periods. However, prolonged immersion of the entire product is prohibited.
Maintenance
- This suitcase is primarily for emergency charging. Prolonged outdoor exposure may shorten the product's lifespan.
- Handle the solar panel with care. Avoid bending it or hitting it with sharp objects.
- If panels are placed on other surfaces, avoid damp or irregular areas that could cause distortion. Performance may be affected by indirect sunlight.
- Solar panels may generate heat during operation. Store them in their box after they have cooled down.
- Dust and dirt accumulation can reduce power output. Periodically clean the panel with a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent.
- Avoid leaving the panel to charge devices unattended in vehicles, especially during hot summer months when dashboard temperatures can reach 65-70°C.
- The waterproof rating is IP66, providing complete protection against dust ingress and preventing water entry from direct spraying in any direction. However, the product should not be immersed in water for extended periods.
