How to Use

1. Check Sunlight Environment

   Place the Solar Panel under strong sunlight (e.g., 9:00 am to 17:00). Angle solar panels toward the sunlight's vertical direction [sun icon] for maximum conversion efficiency. Ensure no shelters block the sunlight.

2. Charging Smart Phones and Laptops

   Check the indicator light status; an illuminated LED indicator means the output current is working [power icon]. Connect your device to the product using provided or certified cables. The product features overcharging protection and automatically turns off when a device's battery is full.

   Note: For 18V 100W panels, the charging current is typically less than 2A. If there is insufficient sunlight [cloud icon], most laptops require more than 3A. If a laptop does not charge, try turning it off before recharging.

3. Other Usages (Vehicle Batteries)

   The product includes cables for attaching to vehicle batteries:

   • For cars with a "live" lighter socket (socket receives power from the battery regardless of ignition status).
   • For automobiles and motorboats, coordinate with control modules and attach directly to the battery using red (+) and black (-) clamps. Disconnect after starting the vehicle.

   Important: Connect the red (+) and black (-) clamps to the battery's positive and negative terminals appropriately before connecting the solar panel. To remove, disconnect the solar panel first, then the alligator clips and battery connection. Keep terminals and battery casing clean.

How to Chain Multiple Solar Panels Together

You can chain up to 4 panels together in parallel. Currents are additive when connected in parallel.

1. Use the DC5525 to DC5521 extension cable (AWG#18) for chaining. Plug the DC5525 connector into the 18V port of one panel.
2. Connect the male DC5521 connector to the parallel port on the other solar controller box.
3. The remaining 18V port will deliver the total output current for powering laptops [laptop icon], generators, or other 18V DC-powered devices. (Note: This applies only to 18V ports; USB port output remains unchanged.)

Notifications

• Use the charger under sunny conditions [sun icon] for optimal speed. Charging is slower on cloudy days [cloud icon].
• For iPhones/iPads requiring high current, re-insert the USB cable [USB icon] if a "device not supported" message appears. For laptops, closing the device is recommended for better charging due to lower current.
• Solar energy charging is primarily for emergency use and may take a long time. For better results, use with a power bank for more stable and safe current.
• Avoid long-term outdoor exposure of mobile phones and other devices while charging, as high temperatures can damage batteries.
• The product is made from recyclable solar panels. These panels function as physical batteries and can be used many times. Even after five years, their power output can still achieve more than 80% of the original capacity.
• The product includes a PWM solar charge controller to protect against short circuits and overcurrent, preventing damage to your battery.

Cautions

1. Do not scratch the solar panel surface with sharp objects.
2. Place solar panels in direct sunlight and adjust their angle towards the sun (vertical direction) for optimal charging.
3. The solar panel has a waterproof rating of IP66, making it rainproof and submersible for short periods. Prolonged immersion is forbidden. If short-circuited due to water, stop use and contact the seller.
4. It is normal for the solar panel to get hot during operation as it converts solar energy.
5. Do not step, stand, or jump on the solar panel surface. Heavy or sharp objects can scratch the panel, causing small cracks that affect power output or potentially cause injury.
6. If the solar panel is broken, stop using it and contact professional maintenance personnel or the manufacturer's after-sales service. Do not attempt self-repair.

[Note: If testing the Solar Panel is not possible due to bad weather [cloud icon], a 1000W bath heater can be used for a short test. Open the heater, maintain a 20-30cm distance from the lamp to achieve 50-60% of the design capacity.]
