Design & Style

Its captivating design is a refreshing take on electric vehicles, stripping away complexity. The smooth and seamless exterior features Hyundai's first-ever clamshell hood, minimizing panel gaps for a clean, high-tech look. Precisely modelled surfaces and angular shapes create an almost geometric appeal, enhanced by flush door handles that retract for aerodynamics. The distinctive LED headlamps, featuring 256 Parametric Pixels, are unique jewel-like design elements. Aero-optimized wheels further echo the 'Parametric Pixel' theme.

The IONIQ 5 offers a whole new in-car experience, built on a dedicated electric vehicle platform. It provides a new level of roominess, versatility, convenience, and tranquility. A flat floor with fully reclinable front seats and a flexible centre console maximize openness. The versatile interior offers ample room for passengers and luggage, with a generous boot capacity of 527 litres, expandable to 1,587 litres with the 60:40 split-folding rear seats. Environmentally-friendly materials, such as eco-processed leather and recycled yarn, are used throughout.

Namsan Edition: Named after Namsan Mountain in Seoul, this edition enhances the IONIQ 5 with a Vision Roof (full panoramic glass roof), Relaxation seats, and the Full Digital Side Mirror (DSM) for improved rear visibility.

Charging

Make the most of every minute with fast and flexible charging solutions. Charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 18-36 minutes at an ultra-fast 350kW DC station, thanks to Hyundai's world-first patented 400V/800V charging infrastructure technology. Fast charging at a 50kW DC station takes approximately 1 hour for the 77.4 kWh battery (10-80%) or 47 minutes for the 58 kWh battery (10-80%).

The Charge myHyundai app provides access to the widest network of public charging points, allowing you to locate stations, check availability, charge, and pay. It also offers navigation and real-time updates.

Connectivity & Technology

Plugged into your every need, the IONIQ 5 offers a truly new experience with innovative interior space and cutting-edge smart technology. It features a masterful integration of digital and analogue technologies, highlighted by an extra-wide integrated display combining a 12.3" infotainment touchscreen and a 12.3" digital cluster. Connectivity features include seamless smartphone syncing with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, wireless phone charging, and an optional Bose premium sound system.

Experience a world of possibilities with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing you to power or charge external devices using the IONIQ 5's battery. A 3-pin socket is also available between the rear seats for charging electronic items.

Stay connected from anywhere with Bluelink® Connected Car Services, enabling control of your car via smartphone or voice. Features include destination sending, charging station finding, live services, finding your car, managing charging schedules, and Last Mile Navigation.

IONIQ 5 Premium

Features include a 12.3" touchscreen, 19" alloy wheels, ambient lighting, battery heating, BCA, Bluelink, dual LED headlamps, dual zone climate control, heated seats and steering wheel, Highway Drive Assist, part leather upholstery, rear view monitor, smart cruise control, smart tailgate, V2L, and wireless charging. Adds to Premium with 20" alloy wheels, alloy pedals, Blind View Monitor, Bose premium audio, passenger seat electric adjustments, heated rear seats, HUD (AR), and leather seat trim. Optional Tech Pack and Heat Pump are available.

IONIQ 5 Namsan Edition

Adds to Ultimate with Auto Flush Door Handles, Digital Side Mirrors, Heat Pump, and PCA. It also includes Memory Seats, Relaxation Seats, RSPA, and Vision Roof.
