The IONIQ 5 moves Hyundai's electric vehicle offering on to a whole new level. Equipped with an 800-volt battery system for ultra-fast charging and delivering a driving range of up to 298 miles (WLTP), it is created to take you further with faster charging and sleeker style. Advanced connectivity and driver assistance features offer an ultimate in-car experience while ensuring a high level of safety. Additionally, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology enables charging of domestic electric items and trickle charging of another electric car.

The IONIQ 5's pure design is a refreshing take on electric vehicles, stripping away complexity to celebrate clean lines and minimalistic structures. The unique clamshell bonnet spans the entire width of the car, minimizing panel gaps for a clean, high-tech look. The LED lighting showcases its signature 256 Parametric Pixels – jewel-like design elements that will feature on the exterior of all future IONIQ models.

Inside the IONIQ 5, the lines between living space and moving space blur. The new, dedicated electric vehicle platform results in unique proportions and an elongated wheelbase, providing an opportunity to re-create the interior as a whole new in-car experience. The interior was designed with space and flexibility in mind – from front seats that can be fully reclined, to the sliding centre console that can be moved back and forth to accommodate space and provide access to extra storage and USB ports.
The unique experience is not just limited to space and flexibility. Environmentally friendly materials are used throughout the interior, from the carpet and roof liner to the seat covers and door panel inserts. Materials include eco-processed leather, yarn made of crushed recycled PET bottles, and raw materials extracted from sugar cane – all of which are durable, look great, and add to the car's premium feel.
