Scosche CR10SR Stereo Replacement & Steering Wheel Control Interface

Product Overview
The CR10SR allows users to replace their factory OEM stereo while retaining factory steering wheel controls, provided the vehicle is equipped with them. The interface module is shown with various connectors. Connectors are labeled 'A' and 'B' for compatibility with different vehicle harness styles.

Navigation Connections
- Pink: VSS (Vehicle Speed Pulse Signal)
- Lt. Green: Parking Brake Trigger (-12V when park brake ON)
- Purple: Reverse Signal
- Blue: Amp Remote
Important Notes
Accessory Output: The RED Accessory output wire from the CR10SR interface is rated at 10A Max output for most aftermarket head units. Connecting additional +12V switched accessories to this output source is not recommended and may cause damage to the CR10SR module. If 10A output is insufficient, a relay is needed (relay not included).
Illumination Output: This output is data-controlled and designed for head unit connections only.
Dipswitch Settings
- For Sony head units, set both dipswitches to "Down".
- For Pioneer head units, set dipswitch 1 to "Up" and dipswitch 2 to "Down".

Installation Steps
- Prepare the CR10SR steering wheel connector harness using the chart above.
- Connect the harness to the interface module.
- For Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Panasonic, and Sony Car Stereos, connect the 3.5mm male steering plug into the Steering Wheel Input Jack at the back of the stereo.
- For Kenwood and newer JVC Stereos, connect the Blue wire from the steering wheel harness to the "Remote In" wire at the back of the stereo.

Wiring Diagram Description
The wiring diagram illustrates the connection between an aftermarket radio and the CR10SR interface. The CR10SR connects to the vehicle's harness via either connector A (old style 22-pin) or connector B (new style 22-pin). Key connections from the CR10SR to the aftermarket radio include:
