Salter Mechanical Kitchen Scale
Instructions and Guarantee
Instructions for Use
Zeroing and Weighing
Place the empty pan on the scale and check that the pointer is at the zero mark before weighing. To adjust the pointer to zero, slowly turn the rotating knob (located on the top or rear) or use the sliding tab (on front/side). Tap the pan gently to settle the mechanism. Readjust if necessary.
Note: For best results, always add ingredients to the center of the pan.
Cleaning and Care
- DO NOT:
- Place scale or bowl near ovens or other direct heat sources.
- Immerse the scale in water.
- Clean with abrasive or chemical agents.

- The outer casing can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
- The bowl can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher.
- The mechanism requires NO maintenance.
- The bowl is NOT microwave safe.
