Water Hardness Settings Overview
Here you will find an overview of the adjustable water hardness values. A table with country-specific units can be found in the instruction manual.

Setting the Water Softener
- Press Setup.
- Press and hold Setup for approx. 3 seconds to open the basic settings. The display shows "Hxx". The display shows "set".
- Press Start repeatedly until the desired water hardness is set.
- To save the settings, press and hold Setup for approx. 3 seconds.
Filling the Salt Reservoir
To avoid damage to the appliance, only fill the salt reservoir immediately before starting the program.
- Unscrew and remove the lid of the salt reservoir.
- For first-time use: Fill the reservoir completely with water.
- Add the special salt to the reservoir. The water in the reservoir is displaced and flows out. Never add washing-up liquid.
- Replace the lid of the reservoir and screw it shut.
Filling the Rinse Aid
- Press the lever on the lid of the rinse aid reservoir and lift it up.
- Fill the rinse aid up to the "max" marking.
- Close the lid of the rinse aid reservoir. The lid clicks shut audibly.
Filling the Detergent
- Place the detergent in the dry detergent compartment.
- Close the lid of the detergent compartment. The lid clicks shut audibly.
Programs
The program data are laboratory measurement results according to the European standard EN 60436. The consumption values (except Eco) are indicative and depend on the selected program and additional function. An switched-off rinse aid system or lack of rinse aid also affects the running time.

How to Operate
- Load the tableware. Only wash dishwasher-safe tableware in the appliance. Remove coarse food residue from the tableware. Check that the spray arms can move freely.
- Fill the detergent.
- Switch on the appliance.
- Set the program.
- Start the program.
- Unload the tableware after the program has finished.
- To interrupt the program, press and hold Reset for approx. 4 seconds. The program will be cancelled and will finish after approx. 1 minute.
Cleaning the Filters
Check the filters for food residue after every wash.
- Turn the coarse filter counterclockwise and remove the filter system.
- Pull the microfilter downwards.
- Press the locking pieces together and remove the coarse filter upwards.
- Clean the filter elements under running water.
- Reassemble the filter system.
- Install the filter system in the appliance and turn the coarse filter clockwise. Check that the arrow markings align.
Cleaning the Spray Arms
- Unscrew the upper spray arm and pull it downwards.
- Pull the lower spray arm upwards.
- Check the spray arm outlets for blockages under running water and remove any foreign objects.
- Attach the lower spray arm. The spray arm clicks into place audibly.
- Attach the upper spray arm and screw it on.
Cleaning the Drain Pump
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Remove the filter system.
- Remove any water present.
- Use a spoon to lever up the pump cover and grip it by the tab.
- Lift the pump cover up diagonally and remove it.
- Remove food residue and foreign objects from the pump impeller.
- Replace the pump cover and press it down. The pump cover clicks into place audibly.
- Install the filter system.
Troubleshooting
Error E:32-00 or water inlet indicator lights up alternately
Cause & Solution:
- Water inlet hose is kinked. Reroute the water inlet hose without kinks.
- Tap is closed. Open the tap.
- Tap is blocked or calcified. Open the tap. The amount of water flowing in with the tap open must be at least 10 l/min.
- Filters in the water connection of the supply or AquaStop hose are blocked.
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
3. Close the tap.
4. Unscrew the water connection.
5. Remove the filter from the supply hose.
6. Clean the filter.
7. Insert the filter into the supply hose.
8. Screw the water connection back on.
9. Check the water connection for leaks.
10. Reconnect the appliance to the power supply.
11. Switch on the appliance.
Error E:61-02 alternates
Cause & Solution:
- Drain pump is blocked. Clean the drain pump.
- Drain pump cover is loose. Secure the drain pump cover properly.
Error E:92-40 alternates, food residue on tableware
Cause & Solution:
- Filters are dirty or blocked. Clean the filters.
- Tableware is loaded too close together or the basket is too full.
1. Load the tableware with sufficient space between items. The spray jets must be able to reach the surface of the tableware.
2. Avoid contact points.
Spray arms cannot rotate freely. Arrange the tableware so that it does not obstruct the rotation of the spray arms. - Spray nozzles of the spray arms are blocked. Clean the spray arms.
- Filters are dirty. Clean the filters.
- Filters are installed incorrectly and/or not secured.
1. Install the filters correctly.
2. Secure the filters. - Wash program selected is too weak. Select a more intensive wash program.
Removable streaks on glasses, glassware with a metallic appearance, and cutlery
Cause & Solution:
- Rinse aid dosage is set too high. Set the rinse aid system to a lower setting.
- No rinse aid has been added. Add rinse aid.
Rust marks on cutlery
Cause & Solution:
- Cutlery is not sufficiently resistant to rust. Knife blades are more susceptible to this. Use rust-resistant cutlery. Cutlery also rusts when washed together with rusty items. Do not wash rusty items.
Detergent residues in the detergent compartment or tablet compartment
Cause & Solution:
- The spray arms were blocked by tableware, preventing the detergent from being washed out. Ensure that the spray arms are not blocked and can rotate freely.
All LEDs light up or flash, or the wash program does not continue
Cause & Solution:
- The electronics have detected an error. Press and hold the main switch for approx. 4 seconds. The appliance will reset and restart.
