Product Diagram and Button Functions

The Denver CRLB-400 features a variety of buttons and indicators for its functions. Below is a description of each component:

1 PM icon Indicates time of the afternoon.
2 NS icon Nature Sound mode indicator.
3 BT icon Bluetooth mode indicator.
4 FM icon FM radio mode indicator.
5 AU icon Auxiliary (AUX) mode indicator.
6 TF icon TF/USB card mode indicator.
7 Sleep icon Sleep mode indicator.
8 LED light Indicates the LED light is active.
9 Alarm clock 1 icon Indicates Alarm Clock 1 is enabled.
10 Digital display LED display for time and information.
11 Alarm clock 2 icon Indicates Alarm Clock 2 (FM Radio alarm) is enabled.
12 Sleep mode button Short press to enter sunset sleep light mode with timer options (30, 60, 90 minutes). The light gradually dims and turns off at the set timer. If radio or music is playing, it also turns off. When the unit is powered off, pressing any front panel button displays the clock for 20 seconds. To turn the unit on, press and hold the power button.
13 Alarm clock 2 button
  1. Short press to enter FM radio alarm setting mode. Press the "+/-" button to change hour digits.
  2. Short press again to switch to minute setting. Press the "+/-" button to change minute digits.
  3. Short press again to complete settings. The display shows FM station options (P 01/P 02/.../P 07). Press the "+/-" button to select an FM station as the alarm source.
  4. Short press to confirm FM station selection. Alarm clock 2 is now activated.
14 & 16 Brilliance control button Press to increase LED brightness or adjust time. Press to decrease brightness or adjust time. (This button controls both increasing and decreasing brightness, as well as time adjustment).
15 Light button
  1. Short press to enter light brightness setting mode. Press the "+/-" button to adjust brightness.
  2. Short press again to enter light color setting mode. Press the "+/-" button to change the light color.
  3. Short press again to turn off the light.
The wake-up light starts operation 30 minutes before the alarm rings.
17 Alarm clock 1 button

Setting 7 kinds of natural sounds as alarm source:

  1. Short press to enter hour setting mode. Press the "+/-" button to change hour digits.
  2. Short press to enter minute setting mode. Press the "+/-" button to change minute digits.
  3. Short press to complete hour and minute settings. The display shows NS 01/ NS 02/.../NS 07 for you to select a natural sound. Press the "+/-" button to select a natural sound.
  4. Short press to confirm the sound selection. Alarm clock 1 is now activated.

Press and hold this button to activate or deactivate the alarm. Press this button to turn off the alarm sound when the alarm rings.

18 Clock button Works only when the unit is switched on:
  1. Long press to toggle between 12 or 24 hour format.
  2. Short press to enter hour setting mode.
  3. Short press to enter minute setting mode.
  4. Short press to complete clock setting. To change hour and minute digits, press the "+/-" button.
19 Snooze button Short press this button to enter snooze mode when alarm rings. The alarm rings again after 9 minutes. The unit enters snooze mode automatically if the alarm rings for 3 minutes without any operation. This cycle repeats three times at most.
20 Speakers Speaker output.
21 MIC Microphone input.
22 AUX connector Connect to an external audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable.
23 USB port Connect a USB flash drive to play music.
24 Button for previous track Press to skip to the previous track. Long press to decrease volume.
25 Button to play/pause music, answer phone call
  • In Bluetooth mode: Press to start/pause/resume playback.
  • In radio or music mode: Short press to answer a phone call.
  • In radio mode: Long press to auto search and store FM radio stations (up to 15 stations can be stored).
26 Button for next track, or volume increasing Press to skip to the next track. Long press to increase volume.
27 Power/MODE button
  • Long press to power the unit on or off.
  • When powered on: Short press to toggle modes in the sequence: Natural sound music → Bluetooth → FM radio → AUX IN → TF card.
  • When powered off: Pressing any button on the front panel displays the clock for 20 seconds. Feature operation is not available when powered off.
28 TF card slot Connect a Micro SD card to play music.
29 DC 5V port Connect to the power supply.

Usage Instructions

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

  1. Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds until you hear a tone; the unit turns on. Then press the MODE button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device, turn on Bluetooth and search for Bluetooth devices. Select "Denver CRLB-400" from the list. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
  3. When successfully paired, you will hear a tone.
  4. Once paired, the unit will remember the device and connect automatically when Bluetooth is activated and the device is in range. You do not need to re-pair previously connected devices.

Listening to FM Radio

Press the MODE button to switch to FM radio mode. Up to 15 FM stations can be stored after performing an auto-search.

Playing Music Through AUX

Using a 3.5mm audio cable, connect your device (smartphone or MP3 player) to the AUX connector on this unit.

Playing Music Through Micro SD Card / USB

After the unit is turned on, insert your Micro SD card into the card slot. The unit automatically switches to Micro SD card mode and starts playing music. Bluetooth mode is disabled. Use the controls on this unit to adjust volume and skip to the previous or next track.
