3. Operation
3.1 Placement
Place the Wake-up Light 16-20 inches (40-50cm) from your head, for example, on a bedside table.
3.2 Power
Connect the device using a DC 5V USB power adapter and insert one CR2032 battery for backup. The battery only preserves time and alarm settings; the clock cannot operate or display time without a 230V connection.
3.3 Setting the Clock Time
When first plugged in or after a power failure, the clock display will flash. Use the [Up Arrow] and [Down Arrow] buttons to set the hour, then press the [Current Time] button to confirm. Repeat for minutes. The display will exit setting mode after 10 seconds of inactivity.
To adjust the time, press and hold the [Current Time] button for 3 seconds until the hour display flashes. Use [Up Arrow] and [Down Arrow] to set the hour, then press [Current Time] to confirm. Repeat for minutes.
Press the [12/24] button to switch between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.
Press the [Time Display] button to adjust LED display intensity (Low-High-Off). The intensity defaults to high and will automatically adjust to high when settings are changed, reverting to low after 5 seconds.
3.4 Light
Press the [Alarm] button to turn the light on. Use the [Up Arrow] and [Down Arrow] buttons to adjust brightness from 1 to 10.
Press the [Alarm] button again to enter color-setting mode. Use the [Up Arrow] and [Down Arrow] buttons to select colors: Green, Red, Blue, Purple, Orange, and Indigo. Pressing the [Alarm] button a third time turns the light off.
3.5 Setting the Alarm Wake-up Time and Sound
Press the [Alarm] button to toggle alarm mode on or off. The [Alarm] symbol will appear when the alarm is active. The alarm time will display for 2 seconds upon activation.
Press and hold the [Alarm] button for 3 seconds to set the alarm time. The hour display will flash. Use [Up Arrow] and [Down Arrow] to set the hour, then press [Alarm] to confirm. Repeat for minutes. Setting mode exits after 5 seconds of inactivity.
Wake-up Sound:
Press the [Sunset] button to select the wake-up sound (1-6). Each selected sound plays for 60 seconds. Press the [Alarm] button to confirm your choice. Use the [Up Arrow]/[Down Arrow] buttons to set the alarm volume (00-15).
3.6 Sunrise Light Simulation
30 minutes before the alarm time, the light gradually increases in brightness. At the alarm time, the wake-up sound plays for 5 minutes. While the sound is playing, pressing any button except the [Sunset] button will stop the sound and light for 5 minutes, after which they will resume. Holding the [Sunset] button for 3 seconds turns off the light.
3.7 Sunset Light Simulation
Touch the [Sunset] button to set the sunset light simulation. The display will show '15'. Pressing the [Sunset] button repeatedly cycles through dimming times: 15, 30, 60 minutes, or OFF. After selecting a time, do not press any button for 5 seconds to confirm. Normal operation resumes.
During sunset simulation, the [Sunset] indicator will flash. Press the [Alarm] button to cancel the simulation and maintain current brightness. Hold the [Sunset] button for 3 seconds to switch off the sunset light.
