This document provides instructions for fitting the Tow-Trust TF158 towbar to Ford Transit Vans.

Fitting Instructions
- Lower the spare wheel for easy access.
- Remove all bolts securing bumper brackets to each chassis.
- Using item E with item G (at forward mounting hole flat washers item H are placed between item B and the chassis) loosely bolt item B to each chassis.
- Using item F bolt item A to item B. Note: models with step item A is in extended position and models without step item A is bolted to rearmost holes.
- Using item D with item C (if required) bolt the ball bracket and wiring plate (not supplied in this kit) to the mounting plate.
- Fully tighten all nuts and bolts and ensure the Towbar is rigid and secure.
- Replace spare wheel.
Diagram: Towbar Assembly
The diagram illustrates the assembly of the Tow-Trust TF158 towbar. It shows the crossmember (A) and handed side arms (B) being attached to the vehicle chassis using various bolts (D, E, F) and washers (G, H). A coupling spacer (C) may also be used. The diagram also includes a 'HOLE CONFIGURATION' section with options '1 2: WITH STEP' and '2 3: WITHOUT STEP', indicating different mounting points depending on the vehicle's configuration (e.g., presence of a step).
Note: Nose load limits and vehicle manufacturer's trailer / caravan weight limits must be observed.
