Getting Started

1. Package Contents

2. Speaker Button Layout

The speaker features several buttons and ports for control and connectivity:

• Power Button: Controls power on/off and play/pause.
• Volume - Button: Decreases volume and navigates to the previous song (hold for 2s).
• Volume + Button: Increases volume and navigates to the next song (hold for 2s).
• LED Light Indicator: Shows charging status and pairing mode.

3. Charging the Speaker

To charge the internal battery:

1. Connect one end of the included USB cable to the charging port on the speaker.
2. Connect the other end to a USB port or an AC charging adapter.

The LED Light indicator will turn red when charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge may take up to 3 hours.

4. Pairing with a Bluetooth Phone

1. Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5 seconds. The speaker will enter pairing mode with a voice prompt once powered on.
2. On the Bluetooth Manager of your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "MiniLifeJacket2" to initiate the connection.
3. If prompted, enter the PIN code "0000" and confirm the entry. Once successfully paired, the speaker will audibly announce: "You are now paired, enjoy."

5. Listening to Music

• Play/Pause: Press the Power button to play or pause music from the audio source.
• Next/Previous Song: Press and hold the Volume + or Volume - buttons for 2 seconds to advance to the next song or return to the previous one.
• Increase/Decrease Volume: Press the Volume + or Volume - buttons to increase or decrease the volume.

6. Wired External Audio Input

The included 3.5mm Auxiliary Cable can be used to connect audio devices to the speaker via the AUX In port.

Siri Activation (for iOS devices)

If the speaker is paired with an iOS device capable of running the Siri audio personal assistant application, Siri can be activated by pressing the power button 3 times.

Warranty Information

Altec Lansing One Year Warranty Card

This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser only and is not transferable. It covers products that fail to function properly under normal usage due to defects in material or workmanship. The product will be repaired or replaced at no charge for parts or labor for a period of one year.

What Is Not Covered by Warranty

Damages or malfunctions not resulting from defects in material or workmanship and damages or malfunctions from other than normal use, including but not limited to, repair by unauthorized parties, tampering, modification, or accident, are not covered.

To receive warranty service, the original consumer purchaser must contact Altec Lansing for problem determination and service procedures. Proof of purchase (bill of sale or receipted invoice) evidencing that the product is within the applicable warranty period(s) MUST be presented. It is the consumer's responsibility to properly package and send any defective products along with a dated copy of proof of purchase, a written explanation of the problem, and a valid return address to the authorized service center at their expense. No other items or accessories should be included with the defective product. Products not covered by warranty will be returned unrepaired.

NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE EXPRESSLY DESCRIBED ABOVE SHALL APPLY. DISTRIBUTOR FURTHER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AFTER THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD STATED ABOVE. NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OR GUARANTY GIVEN BY ANY PERSON, FIRM OR ENTITY WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT SHALL BE BINDING ON DISTRIBUTOR.
