Safety Information and Warnings

For your safety and correct usage, read this user manual carefully before installing and first using the appliance. Ensure all users are familiar with its operation and safety features. Save these instructions.

Safety for Children and Vulnerable Persons

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Keep all packaging away from children as there is risk of suffocation. If discarding the appliance, pull the plug out, cut the connection cable, and remove the door to prevent children from suffering electric shock or closing themselves inside.

General Safety

This appliance is intended for household and similar applications (staff kitchen areas, offices, farm houses, hotels, motels, B&B, catering).

  • WARNING: Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant.
  • WARNING: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
  • WARNING: Keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
  • WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate defrosting other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
  • WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
  • WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments unless recommended by the manufacturer.
  • WARNING: Refrigerant and insulation blowing gas are flammable. Dispose of the appliance only at an authorized waste disposal centre. Do not expose to flame.
  • WARNING: When positioning, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
  • WARNING: Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the appliance.

Replacing the Illuminating Lamps

WARNING: The illuminating lamps must not be replaced by the user. If damaged, contact customer support.

Refrigerant

The appliance contains isobutene (R600a) refrigerant, a natural gas with high environmental compatibility but which is flammable. Ensure no damage occurs to the refrigerant circuit during transport and installation.

WARNING: Refrigerators contain refrigerant and gases in the insulation. Refrigerant and gases must be disposed of professionally as they may cause eye injuries or ignition. Ensure tubing of the refrigerant circuit is not damaged prior to proper disposal.

Warning: Risk of fire

If the refrigerant circuit is damaged: Avoid opening flames and sources of ignition. Thoroughly ventilate the room.

It is dangerous to alter specifications or modify this product. Any damage to the cord may cause short-circuit, fire, and/or electric shock.

Electrical Safety

  1. The power cord must not be lengthened.
  2. Ensure the power plug is not crushed or damaged, as this may cause overheating and fire.
  3. Ensure you can access the main plug.
  4. Do not pull the main cable.
  5. If the power plug socket is loose, do not insert the plug; risk of electric shock or fire.
  6. Do not operate without the interior lighting lamp cover.
  7. The fridge is designed for 220~240V/50Hz AC. Use an automatic voltage regulator if voltage fluctuates significantly.
  8. Use a special power socket, not a common one with other appliances. The plug must match the socket with a ground wire.

Daily Use

  • Do not store flammable gases or liquids; risk of explosion.
  • Do not operate electrical appliances inside the appliance (e.g., ice cream makers, mixers).
  • Always pull the plug from the mains socket when unplugging; do not pull the cable.
  • Do not place hot items near plastic components.
  • Do not place food products directly against the air outlet on the rear wall.
  • Store pre-packed frozen food according to manufacturer's instructions.
  • Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer compartment; pressure may cause explosion.
  • Frozen food can cause frost burns if consumed straight from the freezer.
  • Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight.
  • Keep burning candles, lamps, and other items with naked flames away from the appliance.
  • The appliance is intended for keeping food and/or beverages in normal household use.
  • The appliance is heavy; take care when moving it.
  • Do not remove or touch items from the freezer compartment with damp/wet hands, as this could cause skin abrasions or frost/freezer burns.
  • Never use the base, drawers, doors etc. to stand on or as supports.
  • Frozen food must not be refrozen once thawed.
  • Do not consume ice popsicles or ice cubes straight from the freezer as this can cause freezer burn to the mouth and lips.
  • To avoid items falling and causing injury or damage, do not overload door racks or crisper drawers.

Care and Cleaning

  • Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug.
  • Do not clean with metal objects, steam cleaner, ethereal oils, organic solvents, or abrasive cleansers.
  • Do not use sharp objects to remove frost; use a plastic scraper.

Installation

Follow electrical connection instructions carefully.

  • Unpack and check for damage. Do not connect if damaged. Report damages immediately.
  • Wait at least four hours before connecting the appliance to allow oil to flow back into the compressor.
  • Adequate air circulation is required to prevent overheating.
  • Follow installation instructions for sufficient ventilation.
  • Keep the back of the product away from the wall to avoid touching warm parts (compressor, condenser) and prevent fire risk.
  • Do not locate close to radiators or cookers.
  • Ensure the mains plug is accessible after installation.

Installation Clearances: A minimum of 50-70mm is recommended around the appliance (sides, back, top) for adequate air circulation.

Service

  • Any electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person.
  • This product must be serviced by an authorized Service Center, using only genuine spare parts.
