The Aldes ISONE® 2.1 fire damper is designed for fire protection in ventilation systems, maintaining the fire resistance rating of partitions. It offers a single, versatile model suitable for various partition types and fire ratings, simplifying selection and installation.
Key features include an ergonomic quick reset handle, optional stainless steel shaft for harsh environments, and compatibility with the ALDES SecurONE application for data management. The mechanism is designed for ease of use, installation, and maintenance.
Product Description
ISONE® 2.1 fire dampers are intended for tertiary buildings (public access buildings, high-rise buildings). They restore the fire resistance rating of partitions traversed by a ventilation duct. They are equipped with a default 70°C thermal fusible link and can be controlled by 24/48VDC fail-safe electromagnetic coils or 24VDC/48VDC fail-secure coils. The reset motor operates on 24-48 VDC. These dampers provide fire resistance up to 120 minutes on all standard partitions.

- ISONE® 2.1 Rectangular PM: Dimensions range from 200x100 mm to 800x600 mm.
- ISONE® 2.1 Rectangular GM: Dimensions range from 800x600 mm up to 1500x500 mm or 1000x1000 mm.

Installation
Installation is designed to be straightforward, including options for:
- Installation without embedding in lightweight partitions, even with post-mounted frames.
- Recessed mounting on concrete/slab walls, cellular concrete, plasterboard walls, and plasterboard type A (1h) or type F (2h).
- Remote mounting on PROMAT / GEOSTAF using the EASYNSTAL kit.
- Positioning on lightweight partitions using integrated installation brackets.
- The Easynstall kit facilitates the installation of rectangular dampers in lightweight partitions (Type A, 60 minutes).
- An adaptation piece is available for connection to rectangular ducts.
- Extended recess dimensions are available according to EXAP EN 15882-2:2015, rules X.45 and X.46.
- Installation must comply with fire classification reports.

- Concrete Wall: Requires opening size of X+80 mm by Y+80 mm.
- Concrete Slab: Requires opening size of X+145 mm by Y+145 mm.
- Plasterboard Partition (120 min): Requires opening size of X+70 mm by Y+70 mm.
- Lightweight Partition (120 min): Requires opening size of X+70 mm by Y+70 mm with a minimum clearance of 98 mm.
- Lightweight Partition (60 min with Easynstall): Requires opening size of X+70 mm by Y+70 mm with a minimum clearance of 98 mm.

ISONE®2.1 Rectangular Footprint:
- GM models: ≥800x600 mm up to 1500x500 / 1000² mm.

Principle of Operation
The damper operates as follows:
- The damper is normally open in standby.
- It opens upon command from the Fire Safety Control System (CMSI) or a thermal probe, moving to the safety position (closed).
- It is remotely resettable via motorization.

- 4: Blade thickness (25mm for PM model, 50mm for GM model)
- 5: 30mm connection flange
