Product Overview

This manual provides instructions for the Oshaberi Momonga, a talking plush toy designed for children aged 6 and above. It features three distinct modes of interaction: Talking Mode, Cute Mode, and Demand Mode. The toy requires 3 AAA batteries (not included) and has a sleep mode to conserve power.

Getting Started: Battery Installation and Power

Battery Installation

1. Open the cover on the bottom of the toy.
2. Pull out the battery box.
3. Press the battery cover release button with a thin object (like a pen tip) and slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow to open it.
4. Insert 3 AAA alkaline batteries (sold separately), paying attention to the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
5. Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks.
6. Push the battery box back into the toy and close the cover.

Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch at the bottom of the battery box. Slide the switch to the ON (O) position to activate the toy and begin Talking Mode. Remember to switch it OFF (X) when play is finished.

Sleep Mode

The toy will automatically enter sleep mode after approximately 1 minute of inactivity. To wake the toy, press the "Te-tte" (hand) switch.

How to Play: Switching Modes

You can switch between the three modes by squeezing the Momonga's left hand:

• Squeeze left hand: Switches to Talking Mode.
• Squeeze left hand again: Switches to Cute Mode.
• Squeeze left hand a third time: Switches to Demand Mode.

1. Talking Mode

When the power switch is ON, the Momonga will begin its delightful talking mode, engaging in various phrases.

2. Cute Mode

By shaking the Momonga gently (Furi Furi Play), you can hear cute, "acting cute" phrases randomly.

3. Demand Mode

The Momonga will make its usual demanding requests. If you turn the Momonga sideways, it will request to be wrapped. Use the included baby wrap to wrap it. When you turn it upright again, it will say "Funwari...".

Tip: For better sensor response, hold the toy horizontally, parallel to the ground.

Important Safety Information and Precautions

Warnings

• Contains small parts. Risk of choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.
• Read the instruction manual carefully before use.
• If using a pacemaker, please be aware that this product contains a speaker.
• Do not play roughly, such as hitting or shaking the toy.
• Keep fingers away from moving parts to avoid pinching injuries.

Battery Precautions

• Do not use secondary (rechargeable) batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Ensure batteries are inserted with the correct polarity (+/-).
• Remove batteries after play and store them properly. Leaving batteries in may cause leakage.
• Do not short-circuit, disassemble, heat, or dispose of batteries in fire.
• If battery leakage occurs, wash affected areas immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor. If liquid gets on clothing, wash with water.
• Dispose of batteries according to local regulations.
• Battery replacement should be performed by an adult.

General Precautions

• This product contains delicate electronic components. Avoid dropping, getting it wet, or exposing it to dirt. Do not disassemble. Avoid use and storage in extreme temperatures.
• Dispose of packaging materials immediately after opening.
• Do not place the product on surfaces like vinyl sofas or tiles, as prolonged contact may cause color transfer.
• Do not forcibly pull or bend moving parts, attached parts, or sewn areas.
• Some pronunciations may have slight variations in intonation or may be difficult to understand due to the nature of the product.
