Honeycomb Shades with Internal Rechargeable Battery User Guide
Installation
For detailed installation instructions, please refer to the Honeycomb Shades Installation and Operating Instructions. If installing with a solar panel, consult the specific installation instructions.
Deactivate Ship Mode
Your SelectBlinds Automation Honeycomb Shades arrive in "Ship mode" for safe transit. After installing the shade, deactivate ship mode:
- Press and release the control button on the shade headrail. Use a flathead screwdriver or similar tool if needed.
- When the LED turns orange, press the control button again.
- When the LED turns white, press the button once more. A blue LED indicates ship mode has been deactivated.
LED colors may vary slightly (orange may appear yellow, white may appear light blue). After deactivating ship mode, test operation by pressing the control button again. The shade will re-enter ship mode after two hours unless set up in the SelectBlinds Automation app or kept at least 10% closed.
To connect power from the charging port to the solar panel, see the Installation section of the Solar Panel Installation Guide.
IMPORTANT: Ensure your automated shades are fully charged before use after initial setup.
