DuoBlade: The self-drilling plasterboard plug for fast and easy installation.

The DuoBlade features a centring tip for easy and precise setting of the plug. It also has an additional expansion for higher load values and a sharp self-cutting thread for optimum form lock. The PZ 2 drive is compatible with both the plug and the screw. The self-drilling tip has three sharp cutting blades for a fast installation, and an anti-rotation lock prevents the screw from spinning in the drill hole.

The Fischer DuoBlade is an innovative product from the Fischer DuoLine, offering intelligent combinations for more power and intelligence. It allows for fast and easy installation in gypsum plasterboard and gypsum fibreboard. The black metal tip ensures simple and safe installation, providing high torque for a secure feel and optimum setting.

Functioning

The Fischer DuoBlade is suitable for pre-positioned installation. The metal tip provides better heat resistance and cutting characteristics, especially in double-layered plasterboard. It can be used with wood, metal, and chipboard screws with diameters from Ø 4.0 to Ø 5.0 mm. For gypsum fibreboard, pre-drilling with a drill bit of Ø 8mm is recommended.

Installation in panel building materials

The installation process involves several steps:

  1. Insert the DuoBlade into the plasterboard.
  2. Use a PZ 2 screwdriver to drive the screw into the DuoBlade.
  3. The self-drilling tip with three sharp cutting blades facilitates a fast installation.
  4. The anti-rotation lock prevents the screw from spinning.
  5. The plug expands for higher load values.
  6. The sharp self-cutting thread ensures optimum form lock.
