IKEA PAX Wardrobe Assembly Instructions
This document provides detailed instructions for assembling and mounting the IKEA PAX wardrobe system.

WARNING! This product must be mounted to the wall to complete the assembly. Serious or fatal crushing injuries can occur if the product is not mounted according to assembly instructions.
Different wall materials require different types of fixing hardware. Use fixing hardware suitable for the walls in your home. Included screws and plugs are suitable for most common walls. If you are uncertain, seek professional advice.

Tools Required
The following tools are typically needed for assembly:
- Screwdriver (Phillips and flathead)
- Spirit level
- Ladder
- Measuring tape
- Saw (for potential adjustments)
- Drill with drill bits (Ø 5/16" (8 mm) and Ø 1/8" (3 mm))
Assembly Steps
Follow the numbered steps carefully. Ensure all parts are correctly identified before starting.
Step 1: Identify Parts and Prepare
The first step involves identifying all the components provided in the package. Refer to the diagrams for part numbers and quantities.
Step 2: Wall Mounting Preparation
Determine the correct placement for the wardrobe and mark the wall for drilling. Ensure the wall is suitable for mounting furniture.

Step 3: Drilling and Wall Anchoring

- Method A: Uses Ø 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit and specific anchors.
- Method B: Uses Ø 5/16" (8 mm) drill bit and angled anchors, with a depth of approximately 1 1/4" (30 mm).
- Method C: Uses Ø 1/8" (3 mm) drill bit and different anchors, with a depth of approximately 1 1/4" (30 mm).
Step 4: Attaching Mounting Brackets
Attach the mounting brackets to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure they are level and securely fastened.

Step 5: Assembling the Wardrobe Frame
