ROG STRIX B650E-I GAMING WIFI
Quick Start Guide
Motherboard Layout
The ROG STRIX B650E-I GAMING WIFI motherboard features the AMD AM5 socket prominently in the center. To its right are the DDR5 DIMM slots (DIMM_A and DIMM_B). Above the CPU socket are fan headers (CPU_FAN, CHA_FAN, AIO_PUMP, HS_FAN) and RGB headers. Below the CPU socket are M.2 slots (M.2_1 and M.2(WIFI)) and the PCIe x16 slot. Various headers for front panel connections (F_PANEL), USB ports (USB_1415, U32G2_C1, U32G2_234, U32G2X2_C6, U32G2_C10, USB_16_5), audio (LINE_IN, LINE_OUT, MIC_IN, SPEAKER, SPDIFO), and system control (CLRTC, BIOS_FLBK) are distributed around the board. Power connectors include ATX_PWR and ATX_12V. The rear I/O panel includes HDMI, LAN, USB ports, and audio jacks.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Install the CPU
Open the CPU socket lever. Align the CPU's triangle mark with the socket's triangle mark and gently place the CPU into the socket. Close the lever.

Step 6: Install the System Panel Connector
Connect the system panel connector (front panel header) cables from the PC case to the corresponding pins on the motherboard, following the motherboard manual for pin assignments.
Diagram Description: Shows the front panel connector block being plugged into the motherboard's system panel header pins.
Step 7: Install ATX Power Connectors
Connect the main 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin (or 4+4 pin) ATX 12V power connector from the power supply unit (PSU) to the corresponding sockets on the motherboard.
Diagram Description: Depicts the 24-pin ATX power connector and the 8-pin ATX 12V power connector being plugged into their respective sockets on the motherboard.
Step 8: Connect Input/Output Devices
Connect your monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals to the appropriate ports on the rear I/O panel.
Diagram Description: Shows various peripheral devices (monitor, keyboard, mouse, network cable, audio devices) being connected to the rear I/O ports of the motherboard.
Step 9: Power On and Install Operating System and Drivers
Connect the power cord, turn on the system, and proceed to install your operating system and necessary drivers from the included media or manufacturer's website.
