Does the X9 Pro support a self-empty function?
No, the RoboVac X9 Pro does not support a self-empty function. However, it features an auto-clean station that washes the mops and uses 40°C/104°F hot air to dry them, preventing bacteria growth and odors. This eliminates the need for manual mop washing, ensuring they are always clean and ready for use, saving time and effort while keeping floors fresh and hygienic.
The X9 Pro also includes a dustbin cleaning reminder every 10 hours of cleaning. The dustbin has a capacity of 410 ml.
Dimensions of the X9 Pro and its Auto-Clean Station
Please refer to the following diagrams for the dimensions of the robot vacuum and its Auto-Clean Station.
Robot Vacuum Dimensions:
- Width: 352mm
- Depth: 326mm
- Height: 94mm
Auto-Clean Station Dimensions:
- Width: 443mm
- Depth: 422mm
- Height: 308mm
- Height with lid open: 730mm
Note: When installing the station in a cabinet, ensure sufficient height clearance for the open lid. It is not recommended to place the base station inside a wardrobe due to potential moisture buildup.
What should I do if my X9 Pro is running with a loud noise?
If your RoboVac X9 Pro is making a loud noise, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Pause the Auto-Clean Station (ACS), remove the dustbin, clean the suction inlet, and ensure the filters are properly aligned.
- Remove the brush guard and roller brush. Run the vacuum without these parts and check if the noise persists.
- Confirm that the roller brush shaft sleeve has been installed correctly.
- Remove the side brush and check if the noise disappears.
- Check the wheels for any foreign objects and rotate them by hand to detect any noise.
- Switch between different suction power levels and observe if the noise changes with the suction power.
Following these steps should help identify the source of the noise and allow for appropriate action.
What should I do if my X9 Pro fails to return to its Auto-Clean Station or stops with Error 21?
If your X9 Pro is having trouble returning to the station, please try the following:
- Ensure the station's indicator light is a steady blue. The station power must remain connected to the AC outlet for the robot to return automatically.
- Verify the status of the Auto-Clean Station's LED indicator:
- Standby: Steady blue
- Cleaning mopping pads: Pulsing blue
- Abnormal working status: Steady red
If the indicator is red, check that the cleaning tray is properly in place and that the clips holding it are secured.
- Place the station against a wall in an easily accessible location. Ensure there is at least 1.6ft (0.5m) of clear space to the left and right of the station, and 4.9ft (1.5m) to the front. Clean the area around the station to prevent oil or water stains.
It is recommended to remove objects within these clearances. If you cannot clear the space, try moving the Robovac to a new location. If the issue persists, contact support@eufylife.com for assistance.
You can also try relocating the station to a different, easily accessible spot to see if the robot returns smoothly.
- Clean the infrared sensors on the robot and the charging pins on both the robot and the station.
What should I do if my X9 Pro usually stops with Error 4?
What Caused Voice Alert: Error 4?
This error occurs when the RoboVac's rolling brush is stuck. This can happen if the brush gets tangled with hair or other objects on the floor, preventing it from spinning freely.
How Do I Fix Voice Alert: Error 4?
- If you have long hair or pets, the roller brush may get tangled. Using the 'Max' suction setting can help reduce hair tangling compared to the standard setting.
- Regularly clean the roller brush. Remove the brush guard and roller brush, then use scissors to remove any accumulated hair or debris. Also, clean the roller joints and the suction inlet. Reassemble the parts and restart the device.
- If cleaning does not resolve the issue, run the vacuum on hard floors without the roller brush and brush guard. If the error stops, the problem is likely with these parts. Clean or replace them.
- If the error continues even without the roller brush and brush guard, the issue might be with the roller brush motor. Contact eufy customer support for further assistance.
What should I do if my X9 Pro triggers an Insufficient Water Error?
If your X9 Pro is not dispensing water for mopping and the voice prompt indicates insufficient water, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
- Ensure the water is filled to the 'MAX' line on the clean water tank.
- Make sure the robot's firmware is updated to the latest version.
- Confirm that only pure water or an eufy-approved cleaning solution specifically for the X9 Pro was used. Using non-eufy solutions is not recommended.
- Open the clean water tank and check if the filter is blocked or dirty.
- Confirm that the water pipe of the clean water tank is securely connected. If it is loose, reconnect it.
- Clean any residue, impurities, or leftover water from the filter inside the Auto-Clean Station.
After performing these steps, place the robot on the Auto-Clean Station. Unplug the station's power adapter from both the station and the wall outlet, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in.
To start washing the robot's mopping pads, launch the eufy Clean app, select your X9 Pro, tap the Auto-Clean Station icon, and then select "Wash Mop".
What should I do if my Auto-Clean Station leaks water?
If you notice water leakage from your Auto-Clean Station, inspect it by following these steps:
Determine the root cause of the water leakage:
- Scenario 1: The cleaning tank is full, and water overflows down the slope in front of it.
- Scenario 2: The cleaning tank has no water, but water is leaking from the bottom of the cleaning tray or around the station.
Troubleshooting Scenario 1:
- Ensure you are using only pure water or an eufy-approved cleaning solution for the X9 Pro.
- Check the cleaning tray for residue. Leftover residue can cause water to overflow during the mopping process. Remove and thoroughly wash the cleaning tray if residue is present.
- Verify that the lid on the dirty water tank is completely closed and that the tank itself is not damaged. If the lid is not properly closed, secure it tightly. If the seal or lid buckle is damaged, the dirty water tank may need replacement.
Troubleshooting Scenario 2:
- Check the bottom of the cleaning tray for residual water, which might have leaked during removal. Wipe the tray dry and observe for further leakage. When disassembling the tray, hold it horizontally to minimize spills.
- Inspect the cleaning tray for a missing rubber plug at the water-filling port. If the plug is missing, the cleaning tray needs replacement.
- If the water inlet plug is present after removing the cleaning tray, the tray itself might be the cause of the leakage and may require replacement.
