How to Use

Precautions for Use

A. Ensure the area is clear of power cords and small toys to prevent entanglement.

B. For rugs with fringes, tuck the fringes under the rug. Do not use on dark, high-pile, or thick carpets (over 26mm) as it may cause malfunction.

C. Place physical barriers in front of heat sources or areas that could cause damage (e.g., vents).

D. Do not vacuum large amounts of water, as this can damage the product.

E. The product can overcome obstacles up to 20mm high. Remove other obstacles where possible.

F. The product has drop and anti-tip sensors. However, these may not function optimally on highly reflective, dark, or dirty surfaces. Use physical barriers in such areas to prevent falls.

Before First Use

  1. Remove any cushioning material from the bumper.
  2. Place the charging station on a flat floor against a wall. Ensure at least 0.5m clearance on the sides and 1.5m in front.
  3. Do not place the station on carpets, as the product may get stuck or fail to return.
  4. Connect the power cord or AC adapter to the station and a power outlet. The station's LED indicator will light up solid white when connected to AC power.

Charging Method

Ensure the power cord is connected to the outlet.

Charge the unit at least once every 6 months to maintain battery health.

Automatic Charging: The product will automatically return to the station to charge when cleaning is complete or the battery is low.

Manual Charging: Press the charging button on the unit or tap the charging icon in the Eufy Clean app.

Auto-Recharge and Resume Cleaning (T2276 only): After cleaning for 15 minutes and returning to the Self-Empty Station, the product will automatically empty its dustbin. Ensure the dust bag is properly installed.

The product will automatically return to the station to charge when:

  • Cleaning is complete.
  • Battery level is low during cleaning. The product will resume cleaning once charged to 80%.

Scheduling

Use the Eufy Clean app to set cleaning schedules for specific times and days.

Auto Mode

When started, the product determines its cleaning path and cleans in parallel lines. It returns to the station upon completion.

Press the power button to start Auto Mode (default). Press again to pause.

Selecting Cleaning Mode

Spot Mode

Cleans a concentrated 1.5m x 1.5m area. Ideal for areas with accumulated dirt. Returns to the station automatically after cleaning.

Press the power button to start Spot Mode.

Suction Power Level

Select suction levels (Quiet, Standard (default), Turbo, Max) via the Eufy Clean app.

The last selected suction level will be used for the next cleaning session.

Room-Specific Mode (Available via Eufy Clean App Only)

Requires the app to generate a map of your home. Allows you to select specific rooms for cleaning. You can customize room assignments in the app. The product will only clean the selected rooms and return to the station.

BoostIQ™ Feature

When enabled, BoostIQ™ automatically increases suction power when it detects a need for stronger cleaning (e.g., on carpets or heavily soiled areas). This may increase noise and cleaning time but improves cleaning performance.

Mopping Mode

To start mopping:

  1. Attach the waterproof pad sticker to the bottom of the station and place the pad under the station to protect floors from moisture. Ensure it is securely attached.
  2. Remove the water tank from the main unit. Open the water inlet cover, fill with water, and close the cover.
  3. Reinsert the water tank into the main unit.
  4. Attach the mop module to the bottom of the main unit until it clicks into place.
  5. Remove the mopping cloth from the mop module. Wet and wring out the cloth. Insert it into the mop module slots and attach securely.

Do not add detergent to the water tank, as this may damage the product.

Operating the Product with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant

You can control the Eufy Clean X8 Pro using voice commands with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant devices.

Requirements:

  • The product must be connected to the station and fully charged.
  • The product must be connected to the Eufy Clean app.
  • An Amazon Echo or Google Home device (sold separately).
  • Amazon Alexa app or Google Home app installed and account created on your smartphone.

To set up:

  1. Open the Eufy Clean app and find "Smart Link" in the top left corner.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Setting Up Virtual Walls (Available via Eufy Clean App Only)

Use the Eufy Clean app to set "No-go Zones" and "Virtual Walls" to restrict the robot's movement. This can eliminate the need for physical barriers in most cases.

Note: It is still recommended to use physical barriers for heat sources or areas that could damage the robot (e.g., vents).

  • No-go Zone: The robot will not enter this area to clean.
  • Virtual Wall: The robot will not cross this boundary.
  • Water-Mopping Restricted Zone: The robot will not enter this zone when mopping.

To set these zones, you must first allow the robot to generate a map of your home.

Important: Even with restricted zones set, the robot may occasionally enter them due to position correction errors, sensor malfunctions, or environmental changes. Moving the robot or changing its surroundings may require re-mapping.
