About XYZmaker Suite
XYZprinting offers the XYZmaker Suite, an integrated 3D design software solution combining XYZmaker and XYZware. This all-in-one application provides a comprehensive suite of tools for XYZprinting's 3D printers.
The XYZmaker Suite comprises several standard production applications for 3D modeling, covering tasks from 3D modeling and printing to engraving and 3D scanning. This integration ensures designs are realistic and easy to print, particularly when used with the da Vinci 3D printer series by XYZprinting.
The suite includes:
- XYZmaker: Transforms 3D models into printable file formats.
- XYZprint: 3D modeling software for beginners.
- XYZengraver: Engraves designs onto various materials.
- XYZs: Software with additional features.
Additionally, the XYZ gallery 2.0 is available on the Android and Apple stores, allowing users to frame their lives.
Installation Instructions
Before commencing 3D printing and design, install the XYZmaker Suite. The installer is available on the bundled SD card or USB stick. For further details, software updates, or technical support, visit the XYZprinting online resources at www.xyzprinting.com.
Alternatively, download the installer from the XYZprinting website:

. - Sign in to your XYZprinting account to access the support page for downloading the software.
For Windows and Linux OS:
Double-click the installer file. The XYZmaker Suite Setup wizard will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
For macOS:
Double-click the installer file (typically a *.dmg* format). Drag the application alias into the Applications folder.
Upon successful installation, you can launch XYZmaker Suite to begin creating and printing 3D objects.
Software Overview
XYZmaker Suite is an all-in-one 3D design software application providing a comprehensive range of 3D tools for XYZprinting's 3D printers.
XYZmaker
XYZmaker is a 3D modeling application featuring an intuitive user interface and a wide array of 3D modeling tools and templates. It allows users to perform 3D modeling and print their creations using XYZprint.
To use the printing function, open XYZmaker, build your model on the platform, and then navigate to [File]
> [XYZprint Plugin]
to launch the XYZprint software. Ensure XYZprint is installed first.
XYZengraver
XYZengraver is a specialized engraving software designed for XYZprinting's laser engraver module.
The workflow involves:
- Selecting
Import
to choose the graphic file for engraving. - Performing basic editing.
- Selecting the
Engrave
icon. - Adjusting settings such as

andAutomatic Feedback
. - Viewing engraving samples and software version information.
XYZprint
XYZprint is a 3D printing application known for its fast slicing capabilities. It enables users to preview their 3D models in full color and monitor the printing progress in real time.
Printing Process:
- Open XYZprint, navigate to the
DASHBOARD
, and select the connected 3D printer. - Import your desired 3D files.
- Adjust the object's size as needed by clicking on it.
- In the
Print
menu, configure print parameters such as material profile, nozzle diameter, and nozzle type. - Once parameters are set, click
[PREPARE]
. - After preparation, verify the model is complete. Then, click
[PRINT]
or[SAVE]
. The software displays estimated print time and filament usage.
XYZscan Color
XYZscan Color is a scanning software tool designed for 360-degree full-color 3D scanning, utilizing advanced 3D scanning technology.
Before starting, ensure the scan module and scan backboard are correctly installed on your 3D printer and that you are in scan mode via the control panel.
The main screen of XYZscan Color features:
- A. Main menu: For saving files, initiating scans, and configuring system settings, including tutorials and membership functions.
- B. Setting area: To adjust the scan environment and quality.
- C. Operating area: For real-time object preview and scanning.
- D. Preview pane: Displays the live camera feed.
Scanning Procedure:
- Ensure all settings are configured. Click
[SCAN]
in the bottom right corner to begin scanning. - Place the object to be scanned on the turntable.
- As the software generates the point cloud and 3D model, use your mouse in the Preview pane to rotate, zoom in, or zoom out and review the scan results.
- To cancel the scanning process, click the
[ x ]
button next to the progress bar.
